Artista Studio

We are a brand new studio space in the heart of Brighton. Inspired by our beautiful city and its inhabitants, Artista is inspired by the creativity of Brighton and we like to think of our studio as a Space to Create.

The space is versatile enough to accommodate all sorts of events from exhibitions to fashion shows. So, if you are a designer or artist and are interested in looking at the space then please do drop us a line.

Since we have opened the studio we have had one unifying response from everyone who visits us - they love the space, its character and everything if offers.

Private hire: We are able to accommodate pretty much any requirement from 1 hour studio hire to 2 days. So, please do get in touch with any special requirements and I am sure we will be able to help out.

Our hire rates:

Day (8 hours) £200

Half day (4 hours) £100

Hourly £30

We are able to offer out of hours hire for only 20% extra.

We have colourama backdrops in a range of colours that are available to use with all hires - there is no wastage if charged or hidden fees.

Equipment: We have a 4 studio strobes, Bowens 500 R's and a heap of modifiers (large and small softboxes, beauty dishes etc etc) which are available for use alongside the studio space. Please note that a £150 cash damages deposit is required for any equipment hire, just in case of any breakages.

Tuition: We welcome photographers of any level of experience at Artista - we like to make studio photography accessible to everyone. So, if you have yet to take the next step of your photography journey and have never set foot in a studio or if you have done it a couple of times and need a little help here-and-there, then just let us know. As the studio is run by photographers we are able to offer tuition or assistance alongside any studio hire. The additional cost is dependent on the level you require, so lets us know and we can discuss it when you make your booking.

Model rates: If you are a model and on the look out for a regular space to shoot from, then please do get in touch as we are able to offer packages based on total hours / volume discounts exclusively for models. We are also always on the lookout for models to be the subjects for our model days and workshops, run by Alexander Voodoo. Again, if this interests you then please just get in touch.
