References for Artemis Fauna

I had a very brief Shoot with Sarah, at a 'Group Shoot', a few years ago, and was excited that she applied for my recent "Casting Call" - I was not disappointed .We shot at Sarah's home Studio, where it was not so much a Shoot as an " Object Lesson" in Modeling and co-operation with the Photographer. Sarah made ever effort to help produce some great images, and stretch me outside my comfort zone, (but in a very pleasant way !) I am very pleased with the results, which I consider to be a great asset to my Port.

Thanks Sarah for a super session, It was a real pleasure to work with a Model who shows that she cares about the perfection of the images - hope we can do it again. Martin.

Sarah was a pleasure to work with. She is a versatile, enthusiastic and creative model who brings more to the shoot that just her body! Am hoping to work with Sarah again in the near future as I enjoy working with proactive people like her.

This was my first shoot with Sarah and my first figure work for quite a few years. I used the J&A studios in Glos which was a bit on the chilly side at first, but Sarah ignored all that and proved to be an excellent model. I took along a book with some sample shots I was hoping to get and Sarah was able to get them spot on.

Working with a large format set up meant Sarah having to keep still for a few seconds during the actual exposure - this was no problem. Sarah was very imaginative in suggesting a variety of great poses.

Would definitely work with her again

I worked with Artemis at the Hotel de Vie shoot. Luckily (!!!) I worked with her twice and she is a beautiful model to work with. She takes direction very well and she is one of the few models you would have to work with again (and again !). She is bright and bubbley - loves to have a giggle - and is a sheer delight to work with. She is stunning to work with and is highly recommended as a model - Brian

Artemis was great with communication before the shoot. On arriving she was well organised. We planned to work inside and on location in quite a short time. We worked very well as a team and conversation flowed which is very important to get the right images. Very much enjoyed the shoot as Artemis is very easy to work with.

I was lucky enough to work with Sarah at the recent Hotel De Vie event. We had an hour slot in the lounge area and after a few “safe” natural light portraits, we proceeded to rearrange the furniture (and jump around on it)and try out some mad angles, some daft ideas and some glam. Sarah is really easy to work with, friendly, full of ideas and energy. I’m not sure we created any “high art” but I did have a total blast and will definitely have to arrange another shoot, for longer next time.

My first time shooting with Artemis (& hopefully not the last) was a short session at the Hotel de Vie group shoot. We'd already discussed a couple of ideas before the shoot so we had a good idea what to do. After some heavy furniture moving! we got something really cool and hopefully unique. Always good to work with someone so creative who can provide some really useful input to the shoot :)

I had a incredible creative shoot with Artemis at the Hotel de Vie. This was our second shoot together. I really enjoy working with Artemis and if she was bit nearer, I will work her every week. We bounced ideas off with each other and created lovely images. Artemis is intelligent, articulated, hard working, creative and bundle of gorgeous energy. I look forward to work with her again. Highly recommended.

I worked with Sarah at the Hotel de Vie group shoot. We only had an hour to shoot, but it was very productive. We were lucky to shoot in the fabulous Scarlet Suite and we tried some natural light, ambient light using room lights as well as studio flash. Sarah was very creative and helpful and thing we got some really nice shots.

I recently photographed Sarah during the last of the seven ‘one hour’ slots of the day at the Hotel De Vie event organised by Lucy Lu. I attended the event to trial new equipment/techniques and test-shoot with seven models with varying styles. Sarah’s primary art nude style is not one that I have much experience in, but her extensive experience and very easy going nature really helped me to hit the ground running with such a short time to shoot. Sarah seemed to be knowledgeable about photography and art, and freely contributed ideas and matched appropriate styled posing to the situation. Following a successful test-shoot with Sarah, I would love to work with her again on a future project(s), and would recommend her to other photographers.

Second Shoot: Dec 7th 2012

Sarah was one of the models at the Hotel de Vie group shoot. We were lucky in having one of the largest and most luxurious rooms to shoot in. We did a variety of lighting styles including natural light, ambient light, using studio lights and using a combination of ambient and speedlights. Sarah was very enthusiastic and made some really useful suggestions of what type of lighting and poses would work well in the hotel setting.

It was a really good shoot and I am very pleased with the results.

Sarah is an excellent art nude model. Good communication prior to shoot. She is dedicated, enthusiastic, works very hard to give the best results. Sarah is very easy to work with and is very expressive with her poses. Very highly recommended.

Yesterday i had the opportunity of working with the beautiful and talented Artemis again :) This was our second shoot but i have to say that she never ceases to amaze me with her artistic vision and drive that she brings to each shoot. For this shoot i wanted to try something different and Artemis was happy to bring this to life for me and was very patient putting up with my constant changes of location and use of light/props.

The weather wasn't great, but we had an amazing location to use for our shoot (thanks to my good friends for letting me use their house). Thankfully Artemis is fantastic at holding a pose while i messed about with camera settings and swapping lenses to get the shot is was after.

Artemis is an amazing model which comes across in her work, she comes up with some great poses/ideas and was also very receptive to my own ideas, even bringing her spin to polish the final shot.

I am soooooo happy with the images we created together and can not wait to shoot with her again on the ideas we talked about, yay!! :)

Last night (the 21st) I finally met and COLLABORATED with Artemis Fauna.

I said to Sarah “Well! Let’s have some input” and we got the brain cells going and it was an absolute joy to work with her.

We tried out different lightings, Studio Flash, Speedlite (which I’d never used before) and the room lights.

Very happy with the results, got a few that just missed (That was down to me). But most of the images do not need anything doing to them and I will post some straight from the card (will have to reduce the size to enable me to post them).

Got some really good images to draw.

She was very punctual, extremely hard working and very creative in the studio.

The time just disappeared when shooting with Artemis. Although it was quite nippy she threw herself into my shoot and despite me convincing her to stand on top of a 2.5 metre column smiled throughout our couple of hours together. She has hundreds of great references from fantastic photographers and I can add that she is an absolute pleasure to work with and bounce ideas with. I found her to be very professional in her approach and could have easily spent all day shooting with her as different ideas kept popping into my head. Versatile and refreshing. Recommended from me. I had the pleasure of working with Artemis on her recent foray to London. Artemis was just a stylish, fun and creative as I expected and you can easily see why the quality of her work on her portfolio is as high as it is. The time flew by with both of us contributing to ideas for look, feel and mood of the images and the results are cool.

Many photographers have already had the pleasure of working with Artemis and I can only urge then to do it again - I know I will - and for those of you who haven't yet had the fabulous experience of shooting with Artemis well the you should!! Totally recommended!

Awesome, professional, fun....I had an epic shoot with Artemis earlier today and could not recommend her highly enough as someone to have on your must work with list. My perfect kind of collaborator in that she is able to bring her own ideas, take on board others and discuss ideas on location...I can't wait to get editing and hopefully shoot again soon

Needing a shoot where I could experiment with natural light without having to worry too much about instructing the model, Sarah was the ideal model.

She discussed exactly what I wanted from each shot, she'd then not only suggest different poses and ideas in a very positive manner, but also took care of posing; being very patient between shots, holding the pose very well, and upon request holding or changing, most of which she did intuitively.

A fantastic shoot, that has produced some great results (that i can't wait to upload), all thanks to Sarah. Can't wait until next time!

Superb model to work with . I picked a genre which Artemis had not really done before but that was no bother as she knocked out the poses and it was effortless. Really laid back and took a real interest in looking at the images to make sure she was happy with the work . Altogether a breathe of fresh air to a shoot which i had put up at short notice. If you dont book her you dont know what you could have caught on camera!
