Kate and I managed to arrange a last minute shoot on her short visit to the UK

I picked her up from the station and we drove straight to the studio

All I can say is WOW, absolutely amazing model and so beautiful

Has an amazing physique and knows how to pose and create real art images

She helps with the lighting and modelling trying to get the best results possible

We managed to get quite a few sets in the short time we had but looking at the back of the camera the images looked fabulous

Kate is friendly and talkative and we had a great time together which just flew by

Im looking forward to working with her again, hopefully in Vancouver next

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Having been in talks with Kate about organising a shoot here at Basford sometime I was absolutely thrilled when she messaged me to say she was coming over from Canada for a tour and would I be interested in organising something with her - Of course I jumped at that opportunity!!

Kate is clearly an incredible, professional and very established model. She poses beautifully and is full of inspiration and ideas to create so many beautiful images. During her time here she worked well with a range of photographers and made sure they all came away with fantastic shots.

Kate stayed overnight here at Basford and it was lovely to have her around. She was the perfect house guest and happy to ask if she ever needed anything. We thoroughly enjoyed talking to her and getting to know her.

It goes without saying that we would highly reccomend Kate and really look forward to seeing her again soon!! Thank you Kate!! :D

I had an amazing opportunity to meet and work with Kate at Basford Hurst Cottage Photography in Leek.

for me it was very unexpected because all started form the moment when Kate started follow me on IG and I found her artistic work very powerful and supperb.

then I found that she is comming to Basford for the workshop so applied for it and with few changes on the way and fantastic communication between Kate, Leanne and myself I can say that I create the art with Kate the master of art nude deco style.

Thank you very much for that amazing experiance and I hope that we will work again in the future, Canada maybe.

Kate and I have created three times over 2 1/2 years. Our first weekend was full of compositional minimalism and pure form in light. I used the Phase One 100mp and a unique lensless camera so this was completely unexpected and new, Kate adapted immediately and we produced many images that I value greatly and have exhibited throughout Europe. Our second meeting, this summer, was a reengagement with its own character, varying from Neo-Renaissance cave photography , flower theatre, and shadow play images. Kate is consistently amazing. Recently I invited her with two other models for a week at the beach, you can see the results in my portfolio. Kate has a deep understanding of expressing elegance — a modern day Charis Wilson in many ways (partner and model to Edward Weston).
