I have been an avid photographer for many years, and I feel that it's about time I learned how to photograph people. In the past I have concentrated on landscapes, team sports and candid shots. I would like to broaden my experience with different styles, and pick up knowledge from those photographers and models with more expertise than me. To help me learn the trade, I have recently offered my services on a local website - exchanging, hopefully, some nice portrait photos for the volunteer's time and putting up with me learning about lighting, poses and that it's not a great idea to ask conversational questions just prior to pressing the shutter release!
