I applied for a casting and was delighted to go along to Matthews studio to get creative. We were joined by another photographer as well and they were both fab!!

We shot first using coloured gels. This was great! We used different colours and lighting and I was so please as I was shown the back of the camera. We got a smoke machine involved….. it was great!!

Second we used a grey backdrop with lots of different lighting set ups. Again the results were awesome and I can’t wait to see some of the final edits.

Thank you Matthew for a great first shoot. I look forward to working with you again soon.

I have worked with Matthew twice now at his studio & had fantastic shoots both times! There is always organised & professional communication prior to shooting, with Matthew always being respectful & open to sharing ideas during the process on the day too. The studio is a great space to work, with a positive and supportive atmosphere enabling enjoyable shoots with high quality images. I would definitely recommend working with him & look forward to doing another shoot this year!

I have worked with Matt many times now! We keep in touch via so many platforms that I haven't left a reference on here... Time to change that! We have recently worked together in his studio alongside other photographers and always get great results. Always good communication, open to trying out different things, and offers a cuppa and some tasty biscuits (always a win). Matt has also attended some of my events at Tankspace as well.

I had a fantastic shoot yesterday with Matthew at his studio. The studio space was smartly set up and had changing facilities and toilets, which is a bonus. But most importantly: Matthew was polite, easy-going and so respectful. We had excellent pre-shoot communication, so we knew exactly what our aims were, and made good use of our time. From what I saw through the camera, the results are set to be amazing! I would highly recommend a shoot with Matthew to anyone! I thoroughly enjoyed working with him, and I look forward to creating more beautiful art together in the not too distant future!

Matt responded to a casting of mine. Precoms before the shoot were great, he was very responsive to messages and very professional and organised!

We had a great shoot and got some awesome photos!

He was very friendly and down to earth and I'd like to think we got on well!

I had an AMAZING shoot with Matt - pre comms were amazing, we discussed the themes and styling and what Matt needed from me prior. The styling was very simple which I loved! Made a change from carrying tonnes of outfits!

Matts studio is in such a stunning location! The actual shoot was sooo much fun - I got to float about in some purple dresses / skirts, we tried out various different ideas for poses / shots together, some of which came out AMAZING! The back of cam pictures looked awesome, and I’m so excited to see the final edits :)

I would definitely recommend Matt, and would be more than happy to work with him again!

I just came back home from the planned photoshoot with Matthew and Matt. They are both so kind and polite and while we were doing a photoshoot in Oxford city center they kindly gave me a small tour. It was one of the most amazing photoshoots I ever done, I came home and feel so glad and happy I worked with them.

I cannot recommend them enough to work with Matthew and Matt. Both were super professional and made sure I was feeling comfortable at all times

So matt applied to my casting call on the dame day that I posted and because it was spur in the moment we had to go with flow what ideas we had!

When I arrived matt was very welcoming and very friendly we got along very well pre come were spot on before during and after! And now the photos

It was an absolute pleasure to work as the makeup artist on an alt fashion shoot with Matt at Oxford Atelier Studio. He is very professional, helpful and and made myself and the model feel very comfortable. Highly recommended.

Matt attended a lighting course at Studio Blanco, with Brian Worley. His funny, professional and very keen to learn more to improve his photograpy. He also sent me pictures after the workshop, which was much appreciated.
