It’s always a joy to work with Anthony when the opportunity arises: usually when I embark on that miniature flight across the pond to Guernsey! :D But our latest shoot marks the 3rd time we’ve worked together and we literally always manage to do something a little different. It really is a true pleasure.

Anthony was the first shoot I had lined up for my visit to the island, and he so kindly picked me up from the airport early doors, from which we then went straight to our first stop on location!!! Yes; December on location absolutely nailing the magical coastal sites that Guernsey has to offer. Couldn’t have been a better start to my serious of shoots out at the Channel Islands this time. :) We had spoken about everything/the possibilities in pre-shoot communications again, as is always the case - Anthony is a brilliant communicator and we discuss things in detail about what we can achieve which enables me to be prepared on my side. This is the part of my travels where I really have to pack carefully haha and stay within weight limits on the plane over! We spoke about the prospect of location work, and despite the time of year... I was absolutely thrilled to go for it if we could! The locations that Anthony has right at his fingertips (and never too far away from a warm studio base!) are just magnificent and too good to say no to. :P If needed/once you’ve got the images you came for: Anthony of course has his own lovely home studio to cater to a whole range of controlled shoot ideas (as well as escape back to if you get totally rained off!) He’s exceptionally well organised with everything, so rest assured fellow models: if you find yourselves over on Guernsey and due to be working with Anthony... He has everything in place with resources for a grand and comfortable shoot. :)

We really jumped into an epic flow and bounced through the ideas... I mean the location work was just screaming with the best shot possibilities quite obviously! But Anthony had recce’d/was familiar with the place so he could lead efficiently as to where we would smash the killer shots before vacating the area back to the car. Anthony is also really open to the models getting into that creative shooting flow and contributing ideas with what they think may work for a set/location. Just fantabulous teamwork! :) Back at the studio, the productivity continued and we worked through lots of different outfits/lighting styles. It’s an understatement to say that we were on a roll! :D Anthony knows his stuff as well and has great knowledge/handiness to rock his studio to the max and create a sublime finish to the picture - no matter what the genre! Fashion/portraits/bodyscapes/artistic nude... There really are no limits working with this gentleman, and he’s exceptionally versatile as a photographer with a great eye for an image and technical know-how. We got some gorgeous images in the bag which Anthony kindly allowed me to review/take “behind the scenes snaps off” and even sharing the processed work with me after the shoot event too! But great creative yield was expected to be fair, working with this gentleman is always productive and he bears a considerable amount of artistic passion for his work. :)

It of course absolutely goes without saying that I felt at ease, safe and happy shooting with Anthony - just take a quick glance back at my previous references and you’ll see I’ve said only the same thing before. :) He is outstandingly respectful, courteous and kind. Both Anthony and his wife really go out of their way to make models feel welcome, which involves delicious tea whenever needed, sublime/welcoming hospitality and even offering a (routinely) delicious lunch/munchies!!! :D I honestly cannot stress enough how pleasant a visit it has been time and time again... And of course I ALWAYS look forward to coming to shoot again in the future.

Recommended? Oh most definitely... with a big emphasis! :)

Anthony had booked me while on a trip to London .

This shoot was booked a few months in advance but was all organised down to a T . Anthonys pre communcations are excellent , and every detailed was given from clothing to directions to the studio . This was an example of perfect emailing to arrange a shoot .

Anthony is a lovely person with some intresting stories and he made some great company throughout the day . Anthony and I shot through a selection of outfits and genres utilising the space in the apartment . He was happy and open to listen to any ideas that I had .

A lunch break was provided and he was more than understanding as and where a quick break was needed .

I think we got a great varied range and I enjoyed the day . He is a very kind and genuine person to work with .

Second shoot now with the wonderful Anthony! :D It goes without saying that I was over the moon by leaps when he confirmed he’d be free to shoot during my latest visit to Guernsey. And what a shoot it turned out to be too; history repeated itself with insane productivity with picture creation and a thoroughly enjoyable shoot with a photographer that I would shout high recommendations for any day of the week!

This was scheduled to be my first shoot of my visit across the pond and Anthony kindly offered to collect me from the airport upon arriving: the day actually begun with quite a significant delay to my flight whereby the plan actually turned around after completing 90% of the journey and went back to Exeter! Obviously I had no means of being able to contact Anthony at first but when I did he was already aware of the delay and reassuring that he’ll see me at the other end no matter once the trouble was sorted. I owe big thanks to Anthony because it’s an awful complication that literally could turn your entire day upside-down! But he was so lovely and understanding, when we finally did meet up we had a totally fabulous creative time both on location and in the studio getting so much done before Anthony was so kindly able to deliver me to my next shoot.

Given that it was the middle of winter, it was questionable as to how much location work we could manage. Well that wasn’t going to phase us was it! Several amazing spots nailed with Anthony’s fantastic local knowledge and the most beautifully dramatic images cracked. :D We then vacated to his studio and managed another bunch of sets with the same awesome teamwork flow as before. When Anthony graciously let me take some back-of-the-camera snaps for my social media behind the scenes, I was torn as to which shot was actually better than the next!! Sooo many corkers! Anthony handles the styles so well when it comes to lighting which just put us on a roll, whether it’s balancing the light when outside or creating a particular effect in the studio. He’s on it effortlessly.

We only shot for a half day this time, but even so; bless Anthony and his lovely wife as they still ensured that I was suitably fed with a delicious meal with herbal teas to go with! :D Any model that travels over to shoot with Anthony can rest fully assured that they will be so well looked after from start to finish. I have no words to express how professional and generous this gentleman is. Everything about our shoots from the pre-shoot communications to the cool images achieved is just a pleasure and I cannot comment enough on how comfortable and relaxed any model would be with the star hospitality and courtesy I have received on both occasions now.

Anthony is the epitome of a superbly organised, courteously respectful, creatively driven photographer with gallons of professional etiquette delivered on his shoots. :)

I am so happy that we got the chance to shoot together during my recent visit to the beautiful channel island Guernsey: Anthony was a big part in helping me to make this possible because it was literally arranged as a part of a different tour where I thought it may be a nice idea to hop on a plane at the local airport and skip across the pond! This gents communications were so perfect that I was literally able to get everything booked and sorted just a few days before, and less than 24 hours before I loaded up my car and heading South on this tour! What an absolute star in so many ways! :D

One of the things that I love about going to new places for the first time is being presented with the beautiful scenery that a location has to offer. Guernsey certainly has plenty of gorgeous scenery! :) So when Anthony kindly picked me up at my guest house on the morning of our shoot and suggested that we could make use of the sudden nice weather and go to some interesting locations to shoot first, I was naturally very excited! He had knowledge of some truly spectacular places... Many of which were extremely secluded too which is hard to come by on such a small island! We got some very artistic images in the bag that morning on the dramatic rocky shores/cliffs and all over, with a good system going whereby we could shoot with my little colourful daytime dress blowing in the wind or take the opportunity to shoot nudes as and when it popped up! Anthony was very good at nailing the shots in such a swift moment: on location you have the challenge of composing, keeping up with the ever changing sun and shooting often when the model is too far away to be able to take/hear any direction... but we really worked well as a team and Anthony would give me the "thumbs up" in no time at all when he'd got the shots in the bag to come and warm up. He's very considerate of looking after the models he works with and always chose lovely/safe posing places for me to stand, but also had good faith when I suggested climbing to dramatic perches and would do the shots beautiful justice. I was very well looked after from start to finish on this shoot. :)

For the second part of the day we went back to Anthony's studio: a wonderful space that he has equipped so well for all sorts of creative model photography. The sets really allow you to be diverse and Anthony and I had an afternoon that was just as productive as the morning. We shot everything from bodyscapes to portraits, cute fashiony stuff... Adjusting the lighting to create a whole new look was a doddle for Anthony and he put a lot of care and attention into achieving the desired finish to the photos. He puts a lot of passion into his work and had a mood-board of inspiration for us to work from to build our own ideas - He's also very happy to allow the models into the creative process and suggest ideas too which made it effortless to bounce off each other as a team and gel with a rapport. Anthony is without a shadow of a doubt one of the most down to earth and easy to get on with people I have shot with to-date.

When we made the changeover from location to studio, Anthony's lovely wife was there to make tea and prepared a lovely lunch for us to sit down for in the break. It was such a laugh too and we got lots of chin-wagging done during this time which always makes the day more fun with upbeat vibes. It was a thoroughly enjoyable day in every way and I cannot thank Anthony and his wife enough for such a pleasant day shooting and all their kindness in making sure I was comfortable and looked-after during my visit.

Anthony has also so kindly sent me some edits of some of the back-of-the-camera shots I took as we were shooting and the results are stunning!

Very highly recommended and I so much look forward to shooting with Anthony again soon!

Quiet Envy

Had a lovely shoot with Anthony at one of his home studios. We didn't have much planned as I only knew I would be traveling to Guernsey, where he lives, a few days beforehand. Despite that he had quite a few ideas and the 2 hour shoot went by very quickly.

He was happy to let me pose as I liked and offered direction. Lots of interesting props I'd love to try out next time I'm in Guernsey!

Highly recommended if you're on a trip to the channel islands.

Me and Anthony had a fantastic shoot here in Jersey today. Anthony came over for a photography convention and we managed to work out a mornings shoot tagged on the end; our communications were easy and clear throughout.

We had a great time getting some art nude done in the Radisson hotel before setting off to brave the elements! Anthony had some great ideas and brilliant locations planned, we drove up to Grosnez castle and Plemont bay, the weather was really against us, there were even hailstones at one point but we soldiered on and had a good laugh along the way :)

Definitely looking forward to working with Anthony again in the future, an absolutely recommended photographer and jolly nice chap.
