I have been interested in photography since I was a child, my first camera was a prize I won for a colouring competition when I was 10. It had a flash and autowind on for the film!

I used to spend hours exploring charity shops looking for old cameras to buy with my pocket money, I believe I had about a dozen and thinking about it I should probably try and dig them out from my parents house although I doubt any of them worked.

Starting with landscape and architecture I then decided that, for me at least, they are just pretty backdrops missing a subject, I then subjected friends, family and any other willing victims to pose for me in front of my camera. I realised that my real love is black and white portraiture. I think nude art, bodyscaping and boudoir are particularly beautiful and compelling, especially in black and white.

I thoroughly enjoy photography and this year am focusing on expanding my portfolio in to the areas above.
