Me paying homage to Peter Bast, Mirelle Beenders and Emily Jo.

There's a particular story behind this image. I stumbled over the photograph that inspired Mirelle to paint this picture, but she painted it from memory. When I showed her the original image, she was quite surprised - not knowing where she got it from, but the similarities were striking. Playing with this serendipity, Emily Jo worderfully brought together this interplay of source and impression.
