'NOH8/Gay Pride Photoshoot'
A controversial image from a recent photoshoot. Concept and Make-up Artist Amy Wilks.
I am very happy to have designed the headpiece for this topic as it speaks volumes.
CREATING THE HEADPIECE
* Hair Circle - Rainbow Synthetic Hair was pulled through a white mess with a hook. Boiled in water and naturally dried in the sun to firm a good base. The Grey Discs are also done in the same manner.
* Letters & Number - These were braided and sewn onto the main circles for a finished effect.
* Materials were used with a bit of bling hair accessories around the edge.
* More materials and a rainbow hat (braided) to hold and secure on the Models head (Not shown).
- Rainbow colours to represent Gay Pride.
- Letters, numbers and grey discs to represent NOH8 Campaign.
