Impromptu shoot with the Mr, and this was a humdinger!

Having had a think about my modelling recently, about having to relearn to pose to suit my new figure, he really helped me to discover what worked and what didn't.

He also had an excuse to test out his new backdrop, which I think he was very happy with!

I can't thank him enough for his encouragement and support, and for making all our shoots so much fun!

Once again, book him while you can, he will not disappoint!

After months of talking, I finally got to work with Karl!

To say I was excited and very much looking forward to epic shootiness would be an understatement - I only wished we shot for longer....however in the time that we shot, Karl captured some wonderful shots with the beautiful natural light that was available, using wonderful angles (constantly moving is Karl!) and amazing direction!

I can't recommend Karl enough, he's a fantastic photographer and epic artist who will blow your socks off :)

Another shoot with the legend.

Not only did he drive me and my daughter to Chippenham, but he produced some fantastic work with little old me YET AGAIN.

We worked with only poses, no makeup for most of the shoots that we did, and he helped to bring my confidence back, even when I felt I was falling apart.

We shot things very different to what we would normally shoot, which was a breath of fresh air.

He never fails to impress me. 1000% recommended.

This weekend saw Angel being a guardian angel, while Persephone and I were shooting some non family friendly bits and pieces in a busy country park, and we had a really fun day and managed not to disturb anyone despite being pestered by feral children!

The conversation flowed freely over the day and I smiled til my face ached and laughed again and again thanks to Angel's sterling wit.

And the best part? Getting to see his creative vision as an idea formed, that genius expression as he visualised a work to fit me and my girl. I'm as ever super excited to see what he does with the concept and the tiny amount of shots he needed to work from; utterly privileged to model for this artist I admire so much and I would go to almost any lengths to do so again, any time.

Miss Versatile

So I get a message from Karl asking would I be interested in doing ANOTHER shoot?

hmmmm hell yeah,so we set today's date a few days ago, for a very different shoot for me yet again,

Karl inboxed me what was needed for the shoot and I was a little concerned 😜

But I need not worry,no one got hurt,

my god this man knows what he wants,

Absolutely fantastic creative indeed,

He had to help me into position,

I couldn't see for love nor money 😉

I trusted him 100%

It did get a little chilly, but I pushed through and carried on,till we had finally got some B&W images from a very old camera :)

Karl told me that there was a dog walker in front of m,I didn't hear him the first time,and carried on posing lol

We finally finished and went for a hot chocolate and coffee to warm me up And had a good natter

Would I recommend Karl?of course I would,

He is a very talented man and to pass up the opportunity to work with him, would be a sin

Thank you Karl for another fab shoot,can't wait to see what we have,

I WILL be working with you again :D xx

This was my 2nd shoot with Karl and on each occasion, it's been brilliant! This shoot was with another model also, we worked on a 'body diversity' type shoot.

Karl knows exactly the type of shot he's after and gives direction when needed.

I can't wait to see the final images and also the painting!

I would definitely work with Karl again, he's a fab guy and photographer x

A brief shoot with another model, JennaLou - one we've been loosely chatting about for around a year!

Although brief, we got some fabulous shots (from what I've seen on back of camera and Instax!)

He was cheerful, helpful, and able to give great direction, which can be hard when you're working with more than one model.

We had a fabulous time, and as usual, will be planning our next shoot very soon!

Ah, my favourite partner in crime...

Angel came along as another photographer for our group shoot, and it was brilliant to have him there.

We shot many different sets, and he directed and shot fluidly.

We also finally got to shoot some ideas we had been bouncing around for a while, with fantastic results and had an amazing time shooting them.

I can never recommend this guy highly enough. Ever polite, a great giggle, and he brought pancakes and Nutella!! Fantastic guy, A1 rating.

Shoot with him! Do it! Do it now!

Always a pleasure to shoot with Karl - he's a lovely person, talented photographer and all-round talented arty type.

If you get a chance to work with Karl, take it. I can't recommend him highly enough and hope we can work together again soon.

If only I had longer to shoot with this guy! Angel was wonderful company on the shoot, and really has a keen eye for his work and the shots he wants. Would love to get the chance to work with Angel again - highly recommended.

Whoops, a missed one!

Angel joined myself and Ceri Vale for a location shoot in Merthyr Mawr.

As always, he was polite, great with direction, and for once he drove to the location ;-)

We had great fun exploring castles and climbing trees!

Although we didn't get much digital work, we are yet to see the film work, which I am very much looking forward to.

He was also very understanding that after 6 or so hours of posing nude in the cold (and at times, snow!) I was a little too cold to continue for as long as we wanted to (my fault!).

Once again, 110% recommended.

Miss Versatile

My first shoot with angel illustrations and what a gent,arrived at the location today on time,made me feel comfortable,angel knew what he wanted from the shoot and his direction was great,it was a bit icy and wet but despite this we got on with what we set to do :D,

would I recommend angel 100%

I'm running out of complimentary words to say about this guy!!

My first shoot of 2015, and we had a fab time.

It was too rainy to go to our locations (another day!), so we shot in my (overgrown) garden and house.

I was a little nervous about this shoot, as it was a film one, and in my eyes, I need to get everything spot on! But Angel kept me relaxed, happy, and spotted great poses even when I was just relaxing while he changed his camera settings!

I am bouncing with anticipation in seeing these shots :-D Hurry up postman!!

Highly recommended, one of my favourite partners in crime... I mean creatives, of all time!

Lovely shoot with Angel and MrDarkside!

After our location got "rained off" due to police patrols, we shot at my house.

As usual, Angel was polite, efficient and a lot of fun.

He explained very clearly what he wanted, and with his direction, we were able to get the shot he needed in a matter of minutes!

I can't wait to see this painting... it's gonna be something special!!

Turns out I was Angel's first male model. He is, quite literally, the easiest photographer to work with: awesome concept, styling sorted, mask manufactured, co-model booked, location sourced. Turn up, get changed, take the shot, bugger off home. Easy! Top bloke, hope I get the chance to work with him again.

Had my first shoot with Karl last weekend and what an awesome day! He explained exactly what he wanted from the shoot in an email beforehand so i could easily prepare. He was fun and a delight to work with and im honored to be made into one of his works of art!!

Mog

Karl is a lovely guy to meet, really placid and down to earth, I was instantly at ease around him when we shot back at the end of Summer. He works with the kind of artistic vision that means he knows exactly what he's looking for, communicates that very well, and captures it very quickly. Having said that, he was also happy to hang around a little longer and experiment with shooting a handful of other things for my amusement :)

As for the results of the shoot? Well, the photograph he shared with me at the time is to date the only FPI on my portfolio, and the painting he just posted absolutely blows me away. Definitely recognisable as me, but with so much drama and beauty. I love Karl's artwork, and I would be happy to collaborate with him anywhere, any time again. Needless to say I would recommend any other model to do the same!

Had my second shoot with Karl yesterday and this time I think he was prepared for my quirkyness :) Me, Karl and Ceri (Vale Images) shot together at an awesome abandoned church all day. Karl is really awesome to work with and really does look at the location he is at to get the best out of it and out of the model (me) He told me the kind of shots he wanted and he worked efficiently to get them :) I think we got some awesome shots and I can not wait to see them uploaded here :) If you have the chance to work with Karl do it!

Another fantastic shoot with Angel and Becca Brown...

He told me about this idea, and I thought it was fantastic. During the planning process, he took my input about the second model on board, and allowed me to put my views forward on who I think would have suited it well, and also who I would have been comfortable working with.

This was the second time I've worked with Karl although the first time I think we only took five shots! Karl is a lovely person and an extremely talented, creative photographer. He is full of great ideas but was equally happy to let me contribute my own ideas, climb on the furniture and generally run around having fun. Brilliant to work with, receiving edits back is an absolute joy - highly recommended and I hope we can work together again really soon :)
