Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Andrew has just spent two days shooting with us here at Basford Hurst Cottage and it was a pleasure to welcome him back here after his last visit last year. The first day Andrew spent shooting with the lovely Petra, and the second day he shot with studio owner Miss C.

All pre comms with Andrew were great - He made organising the two days incredibly easy.

Andrew worked tirelessly over the two days with both models to create many stunning images. He has so many wonderful ideas and between him and the model really brought them to life!! - He was always respectful of our location and was very polite, easy to talk to and happy to ask if he ever needed anything.

We would happily reccomend Andrew and really look forward to seeing him again soon!! Thank you for coming back to our location!!

Andrew contacted me to ask if I would be interested to shoot with him on his second day of shooting at Basford Hurst Cottage - Having met Andrew previously and seen the quality of his images I obviously jumped at the opportunity!!

All pre comms with Andrew were great - He sent me some really fun and creative ideas for things he wanted to shoot!! On the day of the shoot he arrived on time with everything he needed and after a cuppa and a chat we began shooting.

Following Andrew's shoot plan was lot of fun!! At one point I ended up wearing a moustache inspired by Freddie Mercurys epic 'I want to break free' - and we moved on to a more 'erotic rendition' of a James bond themed set... Finally finishing off with some lovely candid images down by our woodland bridge. Time absolutely flew by, we spent plenty of time chatting and bouncing ideas around and really came away with some fantastic images!!

Andrew allowed me to pose freely but also had some of his own suggestions. He is clearly very knowledgeable about light and composition as spent a lot of time getting the image right, something I really appreciate!!

All in all a fantastic shoot and I would of course highly reccomend Andrew!! Thank you so much and I look forward to seeing you again soon!!

I had a great shoot with Andrew whilst on my Glasgow tour! Shooting on location around the city itself- lots of cool locations and opportunities for shots! Despite the cold weather, we powered on through and captured some really awesome shots. The images are so great!! Andrew was very friendly and professional throughout. I worked with the lovely Andrew again recently at my little studio "Heavenly Bodies Studio" and had such a wonderful, creative shoot! I cannot believe it had been FIVE years since our last shoot, time flys!!

Andrew had been very lucky to win a days shoot with myself at the studio and had kindly driven from Falkirk and booked a hotel nearby (crazy man! :P )

Shooting with Andrew again was like shooting with an old friend! He was fantastic company, professional, respectful and a thoroughly lovely person! I greatly enjoyed the day and went away smiling!

We captured SO many beautiful images and some absolutely hilarious outtakes! He gave great direction and I felt I could be my mad eccentric self, which is always lovely!

Thankyou so much Andrew for a wonderful day and I really do hope to work together when I am next on tour in Scotland! Highly recommended to all models and creatives, Helen x

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Andrew came to Basford Hurst Cottage to shoot with Petra for the day. Pre comms with Andrew were great!! Everything was organised swiftly and Andrew was so easy to communicate with throughout.

Andrew arrived on time at Basford with everything he needed. He is polite, easy to talk to and very professional. Andrew clearly has a great eye for photography (you only have to look at his images to see that!!) and really enjoys what he does!!

Andrew looked after our location from start to finish and made sure to ask if he needed anything during the shoot.

Andrew comes highly recommended from me and I certainly hope to see him again one day!! Thanks so much Andrew!! :D

My first time shooting with Andrew but hopefully not the last!

Andrew had great communication on the lead up to our shoot and I felt instantly at ease in Andrew's company the second he arrived at my Edinburgh apartment! We had a cup of tea and I showed him the selection of wardrobe I had with me where we shortlisted a handful of outfits. We worked our way around the apartment shooting the different outfits we had picked, which were so varied so made the shoot super fun being able to swap between different styles and characters.

Andrew is very laid back and easy to work with, and also very friendly/chatty. I absolutely loved our shoot and really hope to work with him again soon :D

2W Location

Try as it might but Covid couldn't keep Andrew away - so after an initial booking some two years earlier, he finally made the epic journey from Scotland to come and shoot here at Two Wei!

Andrew is friendly, polite and professional and worked very well with his model. They had a relaxed shoot but covered plenty of ground - both inside and out.

We're happy to unreservedly recommend Andrew to any other studios or models he wishes to work with and hope to see him again here at Two Wei sometime soon.

I had a lovely, chilled out shoot with Andrew as part of Evie Siddal and my pre-Raphaelite dream duo weekend. He took some absolutely beautiful photographs of the two of us and was happy to listen to some of our more bonkers ideas, haha! We shot so many gorgeous sets in the time we had and I would certainly work together again. :)

I had a great time working with Andrew as part of a duo shoot with Roswell Ivory last weekend.

Andrew was very polite and gave us a lot of artistic free rein over the shoot. We managed to fit so many sets of photos into a 4 hour slot! It was a lovely collaboration and I would happily work with him again. :)

I’ve worked with Andrew many times now and each time is a total joy. Though this last shoot was a bit different for us. We went of a chilly walk around town. Battling the Scottish winds we managed to get some pretty cool shots. It’s probably one of my favourite shoots we have done.

Andrew and I have shot together several times now and as always we managed to get through loads of epic looks! ten in six hours! All with different hair styling and all so different from each other.

We always have a good blether and drink way to much tea and coffee.

I had another lovely shoot with Andrew in Scotland, this time in a studio setting! The lights/trigger didnt seem to want to work for Andrew so shooting was made slightly more difficult for him, yet he battled through and together we got some really wonderful images.

Andrew is always respectful and professional and i would happily recommend him to fellow creatives!

I worked with Andrew for the first time recently on my Mammoth Scottish tour at the beautiful woodland venue I had hired for the first week of my tour.

It was our first time meeting and working together and I am always a little nervous but from first meeting Andrew he was extremely kind, respectful and professional to work with!

Andrew quickly adjusted to my quirky personality and we had the most wonderful shoot, using various rooms in the venue and the natural light available to us, working from Fashion to Art nude.

Later in the shoot we used the ambient light in the house and incorporated some very quirky "Helmut Newton-esque" portraits using the various furniture and lampshades in the home- which was alot of fun!

I absolutely loved the results and Andrew was a joy to work with. The shoot was full of laughter, creativity and spontaneity. I really hope we get the chance to work together again and highly recommend to all. Thank You for a lovely day! Helen x
