Amy Collins Make_up Artist

Hi I’m Amy and I have worked professionally in the makeup industry for 10 years . I specialise in bold, colourful and creative makeup, editorial , glamour and body painting. Throughout my career I have worked for brands such as MAC cosmetics for a period of 8 years  and as Lead Artist for Charlotte Tilbury, I am also a qualified teacher/assessor and can teach all aspects of media makeup/ hairstyling etc. Highlights of my career include working numerous seasons of London Fashion week. Working as a Mua at the London olympics, being a member on the Mac Pro events team for 6 years to cover events such as west end theatre shows, exhibitions, fashion weeks, promotional events etc. 

As a fully freelance makeup artist , my main work these days is commercial, wedding and special occasion makeup. However I am back on PurplePort to collaborate on some exciting new projects, something hopefully more avant garde or creative , this is something I love doing and haven’t had the full freedom to pursue my own ideas since my fine art degree 🙈.

I do dabble in photography, hairstyling, styling, modelling myself from time to time so any creatively minded people out there please get in touch !

Also just to note I drive and can travel to location for shoots, the cost of travel will be incorporated into my fees. I am fully insured , including public liability cover etc
