How do I even begin to write a reference for Paul? He is by far one of my favourite photographers on this site, I absolutely adore his work, he's creative, has a fabulous eye for beauty - oh and to cap it all - he's just one of the nicest people I've ever met!
I worked with Paul when I was very new a little over a year ago - it was an honour then, I was absolutely over the moon when he said he'd like to come back for more. Paul is the sort of photographer that you give your absolute 'all' to, because the images he creates are so beautiful.
He had already shot in all my outdoor spots so I went on a mission to find him some more places. We had a fabulous shoot, castles, rivers, fields, tree stumps, poppys both red and white - the lot. I am so happy I took the time to find the locations as I know that Paul will create something spectacular.
I cannot wait to see the results.
In short.... I highly recommend Paul, he's a magnificent (and very humble) photographer, he's a great chap and its well worth taking the time to find fabulous spots for him so he can weave his magic.
Please please come back again and don't leave it so long this time!

So much passion for his art. An amazing experience, making me feel so lucky and allowing me to put my all into what I love doing.
I truly enjoyed my first time meeting and working alongside Paul during a recent photographic trip he booked me for in the Scottish highlands for three days of shooting art nude in the landscape in some of the most beautiful locations Scotland has to offer and as a Scottish model from Perth it was lovely to have that connection. I was in my element getting to climb trees, rocks, hills, walk for miles to get to locations, get into the water and explore forests. We were at the perfect place for it and created some fabulous images. Paul was clearly in his element also spotting hidden gems around every corner.
I was welcomed straight away by Paul picking me up at the train station and we instantly hit it off.
Staying in a lovely little apartment in Aviemore that Paul had booked I had my own room with an ensuite shower and Paul made sure we had anything we needed for breakfast, tea/coffee, lunch and dinner to fuel us.
Paul's communication from the get go was perfect and he provided me with all the information I would need to make everything go smoothly leading up to our shoot and during shooting together, his communication and direction was fantastic allowing for me to pose freely also. He was constantly making sure that I was safe and happy with everything we were doing and comfortable shooting at each location he had picked out and studied. With walking maps and guides, spectacular weather and the most gorgeous scenery to shoot at we had the most wonderful and productive sessions.
Up and shooting by about 6.30am each morning Paul was organised, up on time, raring to get out and capture some amazing images and he is such pleasant company. We also spent one afternoon working on some sensual and erotic images in the apartment we were staying in with some provoking boudoir and erotica produced.
A joy to spend a few days with, creating some stunning art nude in the landscape and indoor sensual/erotic images together. Climbing and hiking by lochs, up hills and into forests we had the most stunning land as our canvas. I had such a fantastic time and can't wait to see the finished results.
I highly recommend Paul to all creatives, do not miss out on the opportunity to work with such a talented photographer, interesting and kind person with a love for connecting nudity within the natural landscape.
A complete gentleman, professional, kind, focused on the task at hand and very respectful.
Thank you once again for a highly enjoyable and memorable trip Paul with beautiful results. Time certainly flies when your having fun.
Until next time.
Aurora :)

Each time working with the wonderful Amazilia Photography (Paul) has been a ball. :) I’ve shot with him in several different situations up to now... And this time, on the PhotoClassic Art Nude In The Landscape Workshop 2019: I knew that Paul would absolutely rock it given his recent/ongoing personal project study around natural environments and the nude. Just as expected: he produced FABULOUS imagery and was totally in his zone with myself and the other models on board. It was a joy to have him attend - but then it’s always a joy working with him. :)
It’s routinely a fun event because, even though the focus is around seriously approaching location shoots with the best possible head-on in terms of prep and execution... Everyone is really laid back and gets on just like a family unit - so Paul fit right in and was his usual high-spirited, joyful self who mingles and gets down with the chatter as just a lovely member of the group! :) He’s a genuinely nice person naturally, but also has the best etiquette in terms of working in a professional environment. Someone I would literally recommend again and again... Without even thinking about it!
We were taken to a range of different locations over the course of the event - some with more challenges than others (certainly shooting multiple models is a challenge in itself!) but Paul always took it in his stride and worked confidently with the resources at the time. All hours/weather and land-formations, plus very different models with their own styles. He just takes it in his stride, every time. :)
Thank you so much for joining us Paul - until the next time!

Paul attended my Art Nude In The Landscape Experience with Rachelle Summers, Scarlot Rose, Keira Lavelle and Helen Stephens.
This was the first time I had met Paul but he quickly gelled with the group and I found him very pleasant and determined to make the most of any learning and photographic opportunities from the event. He was courteous and considerate of the models and brought his own experience and artistic eye to the event.
It was a pleasure to meet Paul and I would highly recommend him to any models.
Thanks for attending, hopefully we will meet again sometime.

Paul joined for the PhotoClassic 'Art Nude in the Landscape' workshop earlier this week in the Scottish Highlands and he was such a delight to work with!
He was very polite and friendly throughout the time spent together and has an incredible eye for beautiful imagery! I shot with Paul in group and one-to-one situations and he was just so easy to get along with! He's also a delight to chat with outside of shooting and I'm very happy to recommend him to others based on our interactions!
Thank you for several great shoots this week! I hope to work together again in future!

I had the pleasure of working with Paul for three days in Lanzarote. Paul is an incredibly kind and professional person. He was absolutely great to work with from the get-go. He is undoubtedly a very talented photographer as well. I am very excited to see the results indeed!
Pre-communications were spot on. Paul kindly picked me up from the airport. He made me feel instantly comfortable and at ease. Always concerned and mindful about my wellbeing and comfort as a model, especially as we were working on quite difficult terrain at times, such as volcanic rock!
I feel incredibly grateful to work with Paul in such a beautiful location. I very much hope to work with him again in the future.
100% recommended!

I got a chance to work with Paul at Lanzarote for 4 day shoot. Communication before the shoot was great and he made all trip happened with every details. He knew that I had some issues and he was very helpful and he was trying to make me comfortable and he made sure that I have everything I need.
Shooting with Paul was nice. We were travelling around Lanzarote and we were looking for a nice spots for shooting. It was very relaxed, always got a lunch break and been home for a dinner. Paul has good eye for a beautiful places and happy to listen any suggestion I may have. He always made sure that I feel comfortable and happy.

So, wow, where to start..
The short story is that I couldn't possibly recommend Paul more, absolutely gets my highest possible recommendation.
This is actually at least 7 references, as we worked and lived together for over a week....
Any model will understand that in order to go abroad with a photographer you have to have absolute confidence in them, and I did, because I had great references from those I trust, and absolutely felt wonderful about our communications beforehand that this was the kind of person I really want to create with.
Artistically: This was the perfect project for me as it was about connection with nature and it's wonderful to work with someone that really has that genuine connection themselves rather than just casually using the landscape for effect without really honouring it...I would love to work more in this way....it feels like love and joy in my heart when i think about it...
Oh, and the pictures were AHHMMAZZIINNGG!!!!
Personally: I really enjoyed his knowledge of the local birds, and also his general intelligence and knowledge, excellent company. Due to the nature and length of the hours spent outside we were often rather tired, and spending so much time with each other could easily have resulted in friction, but Paul never wavered, he was absolutely a pleasure to be with from start to finish- kind, calm, considerate....
Professionally: Paul is consistently respectful and polite, an absolute gentleman, always appropriate language, but didn't seem to mind a bit and happy to laugh along if the model said terrible things (!) nor bat an eyelid if she was randomly naked on a walk/at the apartment outside shoot time. I couldn't possibly have felt more respected but also able to have fun.
I'm so grateful for this opportunity, it really was a blessing, exactly what I'd wished to be doing this December.
Thanks a million Paul, you're the best, you're a star, it was wonderful!
No matter how I write the reference it doesn't seem enough!

I had the absolute privilege of spending a few dats away working with Paul alongside my buddy, Natural Happy Woman in Fuerteventura.
From the moment I met Paul at the airport, I liked him immediately, I knew this was going to be an excellent working experience.
Not only is Paul an incredible photographer, he is also a wonderful person an excellent company. I thoroughly enjoyed working with him.
Paul is very respectful and conscious of model comfort at all times, whilst the weather was generally pleasant, there were a few moments when the cold just got to me, I didn’t even need to ask to stop, he was there ready with my coat. He is also respectful of the models personal time in between shoots, which is so incredibly important when you’re working away together, however, I genuinely enjoyed nattering to him so much... I think he probably needed a break from me! Haha!
Working for photographers like Paul is a reminder of exactly why I do my job. The locations he selected where beautiful and I felt I could really express myself in my surroundings. It was a truest amazing experience and I am so thankful of this opportunity.
The resulting images look fantastic too. I’m so excited for when Paul publishes them.
Do not hesitate working with Paul, he is brilliant, talented, funny, respectful... I could go on!!
My highest possible recommendations!

Paul and I finally got to work together whilst he was in London and it was totally worth the wait! I was so impressed with his portable studio and his use of a tiny airbnb space to somehow create magic. This shoot may have been the first time I truly loved doing bodyscapes, and it was all down to how comfortable Paul made me feel, as well as the incredibly high quality images he'd show me on the back of the camera. He really let me get into a zone where I was popping out tonnes of poses I had never done before, experimenting, and achieving awesome shots. Absolutely loved working with Paul, who is a professional and a gentleman.
Thank you for having me!

Now I genuinely cannot shout loud enough about how much of a true artist representation that Paul is as a photographer... We’d worked together previously creating outstanding imagery with true merit; so when Paul confirmed that he would be on-board for our latest Arts Voyage one-to-one duo photography trip to Crete - there were not the sufficient electrodes left in my dinky brain to express the joy of having him accompany myself and Renaissance on our model-hosted event on an outstandingly beautiful island which I just knew Paul would rock from top to bottom as a photographer at the various locations we would visit.
As well as being an excellent eye photographically - Paul is also an unquestionably talented writer, and part of his focus for attending the Arts Voyage trip with us was to concentrate on imagery specifically for his book project that he’d been working on. As such, in pre-shoot communications we chatted a lot about this and the style of work we would capture in the one-to-one duo and solo shooting opportunities. This gave myself and Renaissance a strong pre-shoot vibe for the direction that we would be working together as a team on the event and put us ahead with a very strong creative understanding. Paul’s writing work is also very inspiring in terms of how the creative realms cross over; so each location in which we tackled with the stunning “nude in nature” concept, it was so easy to fall in that zone and connect with the magical surroundings as per the rapport that we’d established well before the shooting in Crete begun. This is such the nice thing about our time working together this time particularly because of the artistic drive we had, and then the trip providing the foundations for us to explore some completely unique but fitting natural locations and working those locations like we meant serious business! :D If it wasn’t diving neck-deep in waterlogged reeds then it was snatching every opportunity of beauty off every rock/cove of crystal water at our favourite beach location. Honestly, no amount of words are worthy to describe how much we rocked it as a creative team on this event... In fact, you’re simply best just looking at the photos yourself! Naturally of course it goes without saying that Paul is a skilled photographer when it comes to owning that Cretan sunshine and tackling every other hurdle that is faced with the location photographer: getting good angles in the ever challenging terrain to maximise drama and power in the images, balancing the light with the environment and also the models with two very contrasting looks, bouncing off the models to capture emotion and beauty in the moment as they work from pose to pose... There’s a lot to think about as a photographer for sure! But Paul seriously puts his all into it with serious passion and love for what he does... And does make it look quite effortless getting pretty pictures. Every bit of seawater up the nose and foliage in the hair becomes 1000% worry it! :D
Did I mention he’s simply the kindest, most down-to-earth and lovely-hearted person a model or any other photographer could work alongside? He clicked instantly with myself and Renaissance of course, but also worked so harmoniously with the other photographer who joined us for the slot and the two even made independent agreements (as the trips allow) to mix up and share the time with the models more at the location trips out. We had such a ball working together and no end of laughs enjoying like-minded conversations over amazing food at our villa and out in the evenings. The whole group really did feel like a wonderful family for the duration of the event. Golden memories for sure! :) Paul is just as professional a gentleman as he is a joy to get on with: he’s shows the highest levels of respect for those that he works with and is someone I would recommend over and over again without any hesitation whatsoever.
Thank you so much for coming Paul! You are welcome back any time!

Well what can I say about Paul... He's amazing!!!
I worked with Paul for a week long trip in Crete on our Arts Voyage Photographic Holiday.
Paul was sooo easy to get along with, I find it hard to believe that we hadn't met before as it felt like we had :D
The more time I spent with Paul, the more I dreaded the end of the week.
Being in his company was just beautiful.
Working on his project 'Nude in Nature' made me feel at home. The shots we got are just absolutely Stunning. We made use of all the beautiful locations in Crete and both the images and memories will be with me forever..
I will definitely be making a trip to work with this Gent again. A real honour to have met you and call you a friend :D
If you get the chance to work with Paul, jump at it. You will not be disappointed. A true professional and friendly guy who loves what he does and captures the moments perfectly.
A real Diamond. Thanks very much Paul and I look forward to seeing you again :D
5 stars from me *****

This reference is long overdue!
Paul is just the most kind, considerate and thoughtful man. I had already had the pleasure of working with him in May alongside the gorgeous Leaf, but when I heard we had the opportunity to travel to Iceland to work with Paul I nearly lost my head. Once in a lifetime opportunity... I simply couldn't turn it down.
Paul is a true professional, courteous and kind and always thinking about the models safety and well being. He is also very thorough and pre-communications were of the most exellent standard. Both mysekf and leaf knew all the flight details, times etc and where to be and when. Paul then picked us up from the airport and our adventure began!
We stayed in two different places in Iceland to maximise the shooting potential and though it involved a lot of travelling we were well looked after. Some of the scenery was absolutely outstanding and I felt seriously lucky to be working alongside two amazing creatives. Paul is great with his camera capturing the essence of 'nude in a landscape' brilliantly and all the images from the shoot are bloody fantastic if you ask me! I even fell off a lava rock for one shot and I'm so glad I did because the image was totally worth it.As a team we bounced ideas off each other brilliantly and the whole time away was far too short but what time we did have was perfect. We even got treated to a meal out one night, knowing how expensive Iceland is I was seriously happy.
Would I work with Paul again? In a heartbeat!I absolutely adore his natural style of photography. I could go on for hours about how amazing this photographer is but I'll let his images, his other references and reputation speak for themselves. Outsstanding time working with you. Thank you so much.
100% recommended by me to all models new and experienced, if you get the opportunity to work with Paul do not turn it down.
Peace and Love

My third, and definitely my most epic shoot, with Amazilia - three days in Iceland! Not sure if we can get more epic than that to be fair... Wow! :) I have to say, I was chuffed to absolute bits when Paul suggested a trip to Iceland - this has been top of my bucket list and my number one place to visit for so many years now. I feel truly honoured that Paul wanted to take both Silk and myself there, and I only hope that I have done both them and the spectacular scenery some justice!
Neither of us three had ever been to the country before, so we kind of made it up as we went along - we didn't know quite what to expect. Paul met Silk and I at the airport, having already spent a week in Iceland before our arrival. Paul then drove us up to the Snaefellsnes peninsula, which he had decided would be the best place to concentrate on for the all too short duration of our stay. It was a good decision - his research paid off - the country is unexpectedly huge, and there was so much to do, even in just that area! We spent our time exploring the beautiful forms of volcanic rocks, great vast seas of lava, carpeted in the most fantastic moss, and big dramatic landscapes that had were powerful, brooding, awe inspiring, and incredibly beautiful beyond words. Framed by moody skies of inclement weather, they were a sight to behold. The colours of black and red rock, contrasting with green moss were gorgeous, as were the swathes of purple lupins growing everywhere. I knew I'd be moved by the landscape - but even then it still took me by surprise just how incredible it was. It's totally suited to art nude photography too - such wonderful contrasts and also ways in which to relate and be in harmony with it too. Paul understood how this could be portrayed, and nailed it completely. His work is spot on - and we were really excited by the images on the back of the camera - they really summed up well my experience of this wonderful place over those three days!
Paul is an absolute gentleman, ensuring that we were as comfortable as possible, and that we had everything we needed. It was a tough few days, of cold wind, rain, a lot of driving around, and very little sleep indeed. As I have said before, Paul is totally respectful and professional at all times. He really looks after the models well, and I felt totally at ease in his company - able to be myself and relax. It was hard work, but also a superb adventure - one never to be forgotten. Sadly, Iceland was having the worst summer's weather in like 100 years or something, so it was a struggle towards the end to do anything - the rain came down in sheets and the light so low and dull. Despite that, it was one of the best breaks away, ever, and I loved every second of it!
Thank you Paul for an incredible, memorable and so very special experience -I am so grateful!
100% recommended, of course! :) :) :)

So, my first attempt to shoot with Paul was scuppered by freezing weather conditions, however, undeterred we rescheduled and finally got together for a beautiful 5am location shoot to catch the rays of the early morning sunrise.
Paul’s pre comms were second to none, and he expressed his desired outcomes for the shoot in detail, with good discussions throughout. It was an absolute pleasure to work with someone so friendly and passionate about what they do, I felt completely at ease and had a very productive and enjoyable shoot.
When required, Paul gave clear instructions and direction, but also sought out my ideas too, which encompassed the feeling of a real team effort.
From start to finish, the shoot was a great success; I really enjoyed working with Paul and would happily do so again. Highly recommended, thank you for a lovely morning :)

I was rather anxious to say the least about my shoot with Paul as I knew he was travelled some distance for the shoot and that was had planned an outdoor location shoot on a saturday and that he predominately would like to shoot nudes for his project 'Nudes in Nature'. I was very concerned that the locations I had found for us would have lots of dog walkers on a saturday and perhaps families with children.
Paul was wonderful in the pre-comms and was as helpful as I could've imagined with looking for back up options for locations and on the morning he had found somewhere just 10-15 mins away from my house which was perfect for our shoot. We only passed by a few people but otherwise had the place to ourselves. The location really lent itself to nudes, it was a wildlife nature reserve.
Paul was really relaxed and once he'd captured the shots he was looking for we moved on. The second location was a risk again I thought they'd be more people, but again we only saw a couple and even they just walked in another direction.
The shoot couldn't have been more of a success which made me really happy given the weeks worrying beforehand.
Paul couldn't have been nicer or more helpful and understanding than he was.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED BY ME,
Thanks so much and I would love to work with you again,

I worked with the lovely Paul for the fourth time, we organised a duo half day alongside Charliee at The Loft studio in Colchester.
Paul is so passionate about creating striking art nude, I love his education to making sure the image is the best it can be. He has a fantastic eye for light and the beautiful sculptural images we created are mind blowing!
A true gent, professional, kind, thoughtful and positive. I love being around Paul and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to any model.
Thankyou!
