My second shoot with Amalia and I'd (almost) forgotten what an absolute delight she is to work with!

In extremely hot conditions Amalia happily donned heavy and multi-layered costumes to bring the Early Stuart look to life for me and An Eye for Beauty. This takes so much more than simply looking stunning in front of the camera (which she does, of course!); it's about inhabiting the character, and Amalia does this beautifully.

Our shoot flew by with laughter and great conversation, leaving me with plenty of cracking images to edit - and the hope that we can shoot together again at some point :-).

Highly recommended!

An Eye for Beauty

I have had 4 shoots with Amalia in the past and very much wanted more, so suddenly seeing she was heading off to Australia I was determined to book her before the deadline. We managed 2 shoots, a week apart, and both were part of my historic costume sequence: Early Stuart and Early Georgian. Amalia always looks amazing but this was something different. She entered into the spirit of each age and acted the parts superbly. I have plenty of editing to do next month which will keep her before me, but I look forward to her return and lots more shoots. Amalia is a delightful young lady to work with and once again I highly recommend her - but you will have to be patient!!

Have I ever enjoyed a shoot more? - Emphatically, No!

Am I pleased with the images? - Emphatically, Yes (but I claim absolutely no credit for them!!)

Do I recommend Amalia? - Emphatically, Yes (but only on days when I can't work with her ;) )

Can I write a proper reference for Amalia? Not really. I simply don't have the vocabulary to explain how incredibly good she is and just how nice she is. Anything I write will just seem "gushy" and that wouldn't do her justice. A truly exceptional model and person.

I had an amazing shoot with Amalia and her friend (first time male model). Amalia is an exceptionally talented model who understands lighting and angles amazingly. As well as being absolutely gorgeous. She was super helpful in terms of assiting with the other model both in their duo images and being able to add direction to his single shots too!

The results are breathtaking (if i do say so myself) and I would highly recommend her to any photographer!

Its been a year and a half since I lost shot with Amalia and meeting up with her again was like meeting an old friend.

Amalia is an amazing model and person to work with, She is a natural beauty and has a very engaging personality which shows through on the images. I have now shot with Amalia 5 times which shows how highly I regard her. The question is would I shoot with her again? yes Tomorrow if I could .. and the next day and next haha ;) seriously though if you do get a chance to work with her, you will be a fool to miss out :)

Talk about tough life being a photographer! It turns out Amalia and the lovely Suzie Day know each other from a while back. I mentioned it to each and was delighted when they agreed to work together. Seemed like a good idea at the time!!

As always Amalia is great company, looks amazing and brings a mountain of clothing along to a shoot. This was my first experience of Amalia working with another model, and she nailed it. Great interaction between the two, total support with each other. Tons of fun. And occasionally they let me get a word in.

Another super shoot with one of my favourite models. Hurry back Amalia, there's a load of stuff we've not done yet.

Shadows and LIght

I was determined to book a shoot with Amalia before she departs these shores for pastures new and I'm so glad I did. Even an eleventh hour change of studio didn't deter her. She brought a great deal of creative input to the shoot and posed so beautifully that it made my task very easy. She is also a delightful, interesting and friendly person who I would certainly recommend to any thoughtful photographer.

I hope to be able to work with Amalia again- maybe even before she leaves on her travels.

My first shoot with the amazing Amalia and I am very sad to hear that she is soon moving to Australia for a while. Their gain is very much our loss.

I just wish I could fit in a million more shoots with her before she goes down under, hopefully she will get homesick and be back here again very soon.

Amalia is one of those models who is just a natural, posing with ease and able to take direction just as easily. Oh why, oh why did I not work with her much sooner. Come back soon Amalia.

My second shoot with the awesome Amalia this afternoon. Just a few months since our first shoot, I wondered if this one could possibly be as good. Well, I for one think it was even better.

Amalia's one of those models with a naturally smiley face and sunny disposition (goes with being bright as a button perhaps) Her comms are exactly what's needed. She was very happy to contribute ideas for this shoot, which made my life very easy. 2 big bags of carefully chosen clothes could have kept us going for a week or so.

The weather smiled on us, so we had the opportunity to pop out for a bunch of location images before coming back for a cuppa and more studio based efforts. I'm delighted with the variety we managed to create. Amalia looks amazing, poses superbly and conveys emotion delightfully.

We've already chatted about our next effort, already looking forward to it.

Thanks for a super afternoon Amalia, highly recommended!

Amalia stepped in last minute to cover a 'no show'. Amalia was highly professional, brought an obvious level of experience to the shoot (which made ny job so much easier) and was polite and friendly throughout.

I would, with out doubt, recommend Amalia.

Me and Amalia met yesterday for a urban fashion shoot in and around Bristol City Centre. I have done limited model photography prior this shoot, but not with official models like Amalia. She was excellent from the word go! We spoke in depth about what we both wanted from the shoot and her styling was on point! During the shoot we worked together to spot locations around the city that would suit. It just seemed to click as we both have similar likes and tastes that just seemed to work! It also helps that she is naturally beautiful and great at interpreting people's ideas!

Amalia is a genuinely lovely young lady, friendly, chatty and so easy to work with! She made me feel at easy and so comfortable to work with!

I can't wait to work together again soon and I'd definetly reccomend working with Amalia if you can!

Amalia is the perfect model to work with , being a newbie she put me at rest. I asked if she would help with the shoot, and she did. She gave me the conidence to then start directing her. Would definitely recommend working with her from newbie all the way up to an established photographer, I can guarantee you won't be disappointed. Can't wait to work with her again soon.
