I was so happy that Alan booked onto a photography event I’d arranged at a local Air BnB last week. We’ve worked together countless times and each time is a delight.

Alan is wonderful company and altogether a kind and generous soul. He is so much fun to work with and we always end up spending a huge chunk of our time ‘catching up’, even if it’s been a week since our last shoot!

His images are beautiful and he’s so generous with them; each time asking me to pick my favourite 20 to be edited. They’re always beautifully composed, lit, and edited.

I’ve had the privilege of working with Alan consistently now for years and he’s such a joy!

Most recently Alan booked me for a duo shoot with Melanie Bond, and was kind enough to drive me to the location, which was a fair way away. We then shot for 3 hours together, with a compulsory lunch break therein, before driving back.

Alan is so much fun and easy to talk to, and I feel we’ll never run out of things to tell one another. He’s witty, honest and just generally a wonderful soul.

This shoot, like all the others, was thoroughly enjoyable and the images are truly lovely (thank you for sharing them with me Alan, as ever.)

I’d wholeheartedly recommend Alan to others, without hesitation, and I look forward to working with him again soon!

Alan arranged a duo shoot with myself and Miss Rosie Lea last week and what a wonderful day it was!

We shot at some Ruins I found near me in the Cotswolds and created some elegant duo images.

Both Alan and Rose were fantastic to shoot with. Alan and I shoot a few times a year and it's always a Photographer I look forward to shooting with. Alan is great company and very creative. His photography skills are also excellent. I often use his pictures as my avators or cover images on Purpleport.

The shoot from start to finish was an absolute blast to be honest. We all bounced ideas off each other and the duo posing captured by Alan flowed really well :)

Alan was kind enough to drop me back home too which is always appreciated.

An excellent day, thank you Alan and thank you for giving Rose and I the opportunity to shoot together! I can't wait to see the results! :D xx

A great shoot today with Alan in the Cotswold Bluebell woods and Rapeseed fields. Pre comms were great and Alan was well organised. We met on time and travelled to the first location. Alan was easy to shoot with, very chatty and it was easy to get creative together especially in such a beautiful setting. Alan was open to showing back of camera and suggested good shoot ideas. We then went onto the second location Rapeseed where we experimented with Drone film / photography. This was good fun and something I had only tried once before. I found the time flew with Alan but we shot everything we planned. I always look forward to my shoots with Alan. We have shot together a handful of times and I would absolutely recommend Alan to other models and photographers to work with. Thanks for a great shoot Alan :) x

Alan booked me for a lovely autumnal themed shoot last month, alongside another photographer.

As always I had a wonderful time in his company. Every time we shoot it feels as much like a catch up with a friend as it does a creative venture... but trust me there’s plenty of that too! We managed to capture some beautiful images that really did my favourite season justice!

I had a shoot with Alan during my Studio day at Aatish Studio.

He was kind, professional, creative and easy to get on with and chat with between sets.

I think we got through a good number of sets in the time that we had, this meant we used various areas in the Studio too!

I enjoyed shooting with Alan.

Atomic Loft Studio

Alan came along to the Studios " Painted Ladies Workshop" over the weekend with Models @missunsane and @graveyard baby . Absolutely lovely guy and a good laugh. Pre Comms were great and he arrived with plenty of time to spare and was ready to start shooting, he was polite and respectful to the models and made them feel comfortable and at ease, the perfect gent.

Look forward to seeing the shots he got from the day and i would welcome him back on other workshops without question :)

I was so please when Alan signed up for my Bohemian Caravan Event on Sunday.

As always I had an absolute blast in his wonderful company. We shot some beautiful images, as always, but also tried our hand at some videography/acting which was really exciting. Alan arrived with some awe inspiring kit, including a nifty drone, and we had immense fun putting it all to use. All in all the two hours flew by in a flurry of conversation, giggles and creative energy.

I would always recommend Alan to anyone emphatically, and I can’t wait for the next shoot ❤️ Thanks for another fabulous couple of hours Alan!

What a wonderful afternoon we had today at Bourton House and gardens! Alan was as welcoming as ever and I also met Pauline today, Alan's wife. A lovely couple.

I always find it a pleasure to shoot with Alan, we chat and laugh throughout the shoot and we are never stuck for ideas. Today's location made it very easy as plenty of shoot opportunities.

I changed outfit today for two different looks in the gardens too. Alan is always patient and relaxed to shoot with and we always get some good results. The lifestyle / fashion images we took today, I can't wait to see. Thank you for a lovely afternoon Alan and speak again soon :) x

Alan came along to my most recent Marilyn Monroe inspired studio day and, as always, it was a pleasure to have him on board.

I’m probably repeating myself at this point but Alan truly is such wonderful company. He’s a kind, considerate soul with a quick wit and an endless capacity for interesting conversation. He helps to make both one-to-one and group shoots a roaring success and I’m always so happy when we have a date in the diary (this coming Sunday is our next as it so happens.)

Alan is also a wonderful photographer and I love the images he shares with me. His ‘Marilyn’ captures are no exception.

As always, highly recommended to models and studios alike. Thanks for yet another lovely shoot Alan! :)

Another wonderful shoot with Alan last week in the Cotswolds. We thought we would chance a new location and tried a little village near me and it became a bit of an adventure with fab end results! As soon as you meet Alan you realised he is a very relaxed and genuine photographer who cares about the shoot and who he is working with. We didn't stop talking from start to finish and the time absolutely flew! We shot in a gardens in the village and were filled with fab little photo opportunities so the shoot flowed really well. Alan was kind enough to buy me a coffee after the gardens and then we ventured to find a poppy field that I had been looking for all week!

Alan is always incredibly respectful and very open with showing you back of camera images. Alan is also great at sharing images after a shoot too :)

We always have a good laugh and a nice relaxed shoot. Alan is always 100% professional of the model and feels like a friend now. Thank you very much for another enjoyable shoot Alan :)

So, lockdown was upon us for a good few months at this point, and myself and Alan have worked together many a time, no doubt having already shot in person by this point.. I am so glad that Alan finally jumped on the remote shoot rollercoaster! We had a good catch up an good old laugh, and Alan took to it like a duck to water. We got some awesome shots full of Christmas magic ! Alan is always super fun to work with and gives good direction producing epic results every time. Thank you so much for giving this a go and helping to create some happy remote shoot memories.

I had another amazing shoot with Alan earlier this week! Alan asked me how many times we’d shot together in total during our shoot and neither of us could remember, it has been that many times!

Without fail the shoots are fun, relaxed and result in some beautiful images.

This time I had the absolute pleasure of meeting and working with Alan’s lovely wife Pauline, who I’d heard so much about I felt I almost knew already. Pauline is wonderful company, and a fabulous photographer and the time we spent together really flew by.

The back of camera images from both were just stunning! Alan has since kindly sent his images over and they just go to show that regardless of how many times we work together we still produce images that are new and exciting! Sometimes all elements of a shoot come together perfectly and we were lucky enough to have just that on Wednesday.

I’d recommend Alan to absolutely anyone, as always, and I look forward to working with him (and Pauline) in the future! Thanks so much both ♥

Recently I have had two fab shoots with Alan! We did a location shoot one weekend at the Arboretum near me and Alan attended my Pin Up Group shoot last Saturday at F8 Studio in Gloucester. Alan is always a warm member of the group, he is chatty and friendly and you instantly feel comfortable shooting with him. For the location shoot Alan was kind enough to let me keep my bag in his car so I didn't have to lug everything around a huge Arboretum with me! At the Studio, Alan got all the other photographers talking to one another and showing images, looking at settings etc which broke the ice amongst people who had never met. Alan has also provided me with a cd full of images from the location shoot. Alan is a down to earth, genuine photographer to shoot with and would always highly recommend him. Many Thanks Alan :) x

I had another fabulous shoot with Alan last week, this time at Daniel’s Mill in Bridgnorth! Alan is always so much fun and it was wonderful to be able to have a catch up whilst shooting (and drinking coffee) at a beautiful location.

A relaxed and productive shoot as always! I’d recommend this wonderful photographer to other models and photographers without hesitation.

I had a really fun shoot with Alan the other week! We broke our shoot into two sections Cotswold Lavender and Broadway Tower. Alan was friendly and organised from the start and we got on well. He was professionally and respectable at all times. Alan had his own ideas for both sections of the shoot and was also open to my ideas. His approached was very relaxed and we slow paced which I liked and we had a joke along the way. I felt completely comfortable the whole shoot and we a have already booked the next shoot in September! :)

Our second group shoot with Alan, our first one was remotely but now face to face. Alan was on time and ready to get started. Alan was happy to ask questions on camera settings and techniques, He was lovely to our model Lottii Rose and captured a great set of images. Alan attended a recent group shoot with Natasha j Bella, This group shoot was very different as due to the COVID 19 virus was done remotely using ZOOM, Alan was on time to be connected and captured a great set of images. Alan gave clear direction when needed. We will be looking forward to working with Alan again soon. We are looking forward to seeing the final images. Highly recommended Alastair

We worked on a couple of specific ideas then some more spontaneous ones. Alan is great to model for and his love for photography really shows.
