The Great Adventure -
Recently moved to the UK with hopes of expanding my work into the European market. The other agency (MM) is more popular in the States but after 12 years, I’ve grown out of the “wannabe LinkedIn culture” and the Moderators. PurplePort is much more professional.
I love depicting women in fully engaged, powerful poses. This will continue. However, my new focus for other artworks are based on the sin of “greed” and looking to have that series exhibited in 2023.
Influences include Edward Hopper (isolation), Helmut Newton (feminine power), Chuck Close (grids and creativity) and Marcel Duchamp (postmodernism). I have 21 years experience in Alternative Process (ALT PROC) studio photography. My processes are unique and self-developed; however, I also have decades in the traditional wet procedures (cyanotype, Polaroid emulsion transfers, silver-gelatin, etc.). I have a Master’s Degree in Fine Arts (MFA) from the University of Cincinnati and have taught film and alternative process photography at the collegiate level along with professional workshops in digital and gelatin-based studio workflow.
