I could perhaps be considered slightly biased about shooting with Darren but the fact is that our tastes, ideas and styles match so well that we continue to shoot regularly and always come up with results that we both love and lead us on to new projects time and time again.

If you are someone with a love of the 'dark' and 'moody' who is looking for someone new to shoot with then then Darren is undoubtably one of the photographers that you need to look at.

His pre shoot comms are great, he is always prepared with some ideas and themes to aid in the storytelling process, he knows exactly what sort of shots he can work with in the edit and he is really easy to work with.

All in all I think that Darren is perhaps one of the most underrated togs out there. Book him, shoot with him and let him lead you to the dark side! You won't regret it! :)

Working with Darren over the last year or so since I did my first real themed shoot with him seems to have become something of a habit. That said, it's been an excellent habit to get in to :)

Sharing a love of 'darker' images we teamed up again yesterday with two other models and two other photographers to do another fantasy shoot in the forest local to us both.

Having some definite preconceived ideas before the shoot together with being happy to improvise shots on the day Darren knows exactly what he likes and what he can work with in an image.

Positive and professional, with a really relaxed but productive attitude, Darren gives direction easily and is fantastic to work with. Totally recommended! All good! :)

I had a great shoot with Darren assisted with his son Lewis. They made me feel very relaxed, the shoot was fun and together we made a great team. Very good communication before and during the shoot and we was able to work on my ideas as well and their own. I love what iv seen on cam and would love to shoot again. I would recommend him highly.

My very first experience of a themed/fantasy photo shoot was with Darren (and a colleague) and what a great shoot it was, leading me on to others since and more in the pipeline. Pre shoot comms were great and we met up prior to the shoot to toss around ideas and finalise the details. Darren is great to work with, having a good idea of what he wants on the day as well as how he might like to manipulate the images afterwards. Plans are already afoot for a follow up shoot and like the first it's bound to be an absolute pleasure. Highly recommended!
