Ted Smith Photography

Alice was kind enough to accept a request to shoot with me recently at a shoot I arranged myself at The Boardroom Studio. I had hoped to get a chance to photograph her for some time, but wasn't sure if she would be receptive to my antiquated methods of photography or be willing to travel to me. Happily she accepted my request.

She was super creative, happy to try various creative looks involving various fabrics, and came equipped with a multitude of outfits that would work for my style of photography.

She arrived bang on time, and we created some wonderful photographs over a 4 hour period. She has a wonderfully classic aesthetic - the kind of look you want if you want to create billboard standard traffic stopping images. If I ever reach the heights of commercial brand work, she would be in my top list of models I'd reach out to. Super professional, knows her trade crafts, and delight to be around. She also seemed interested in my photography methods which was nice of her.

Just completed a first shoot with Alice during an MK Photography organised group event at Canary Wharf. Alice was very engaging throughout and worked well within a group situation, adapting to several different locations. Her posing is very natural and she has enabled me to capture some great shots. I had my first shoot with Alice on location in London,

Alice arrived on time at the agreed meeting point on time, after a brief chat we got started on the shoot, Alice poses with ease and with no need for direction, always happy to see images on the back of camera, and will always get the shot we were looking for, after a brief pause due to rain it was nice to sit and chat, after a change of outfits we carried on shooting in a few different places around St Paul’s. After reviewing images on back of camera I can’t wait to share what we got.

Myself and another photographer booked Alice for a walkabout London street shoot. Alice arrived in good time with the outfits we discussed. She posed with ease and elegance for us both delivering some outstanding images.

Then the rain set in, so we drank coffee in a cafe for an hour discussing a whole range of subjects.

We did manage some more shooting, and again Alice delivered some high quality images.

Alice is such lovely person, so easy to talk to and get along with.

We will defo be booking you again Alice, in better weather hopefully.

Alice was a total star at my clients jewellery shoot! pre comms were great as we discussed hair and makeup! Not only did she bring a fun and easy going vibe, but her work with our client was exceptional. She arrived on time took direction really well and also added in some really lovely poses!, She was incredibly patient with the trickier pieces, which my client really appreciated. I worked with Alice for a shoot, on a moon set created by flowstate photo events.

She is a fantastic model, super easy to get on with, and a really nice person.

Alice poses effortlessly and is very professional. She needed no direction but was happy to take when offered, and there's some fab results.

I had a great shoot with Alice at Flowstate Photo Events.

This was the first time I had worked with Alice and we made excellent use of a moon themed fantasy set. Alice arrived with perfect make up and accessories, she moved effortlessly from pose to pose and obviously enjoys the modelling experience.

I booked a 4 hour beauty/headdress shoot with Alice at Saracen House studio in Milton Keynes. Alice is very warm and smiley and very easy to get on with and we clicked straight away. She brought with her loads of outfits to choose from and her makeup and skin were very flattering indeed.

Alice has an awesome striking look about her and really knows how to work the camera for her best angles. The shots we created together are stunning and I can't wait to edit them! Highly recommended model :)

Last week Alice was one of two “resident models” at our week long Portrait Lighting workshop in France.

From the minute she arrived she was fun, charismatic, friendly and accommodating.

She absolutely nailed every single look we shot, came up with ideas, performed immensely in very high temperatures (over 40 degrees) and was a real delight to work with for myself and the rest of the group throughout the entire week.

Having met and worked with Alice at the creativity hub roaring 20s event in which she absolutely excelled I just knew we had to work together again.

- Move onto the Boardroom in Derby.

Pre coms where excellent as we discussed outfits, looks and themes for the shoot.

Alice brought along all the above plus loads more of stunning dresses

We shot lots of outfits making full use of the natural light especially on the staircase and bay windows needless to say Alice smashed the lot.

Alice is a very beautiful lady with a lovely natural smile, she poses with ease and with hardly any direction as we worked through several themes and ideas with Alice providing valuable input and ideas.

Alice is very professional , very easy to get along with with a lovely warm personality.

Alice shon bright as a diamond this afternoon in the "wonderland" of Pete's eccentric nuthouse studio.

We started with horses and moved on, under coloured spotlights and hoops!

Superb rapport, this model improvised and changed smartly to her environmental surrounding like a champion chameleon with grace and feline dexterity that surpassed all imagination! Our shoot #2 in less than a week was above outstanding! It looks like we are on a roll here! A last minute treat today!...thanks again Alice a super shoot and session!

I had the pleasure of shooting with this lovely lady at the Creativity Hub, Roaring 20's event at Knowle Hall in Solihull. Alice had her own repertoire of poses, and moved fluently through them with little direction, although she responded positively when direction was given for minor adjustments. She was extremely personable throughout the shoot, and the time with her flew by. She absolutely nailed the theme of the event, and the outputs were amazing. I'm hoping that its not too long before we work together again. I'm more than happy to recommend Alice to other photographers and studios.
