Hi, I'm Alan and I am what you might call a 'returning photographer'! That is to say that I first started taking my photography seriously in my teens ( early 80's..ouch!) with a particular passion for portraiture and lifestyle. Eventually went on to work as a Wedding Photographer in my 20's but unfortunately the uncertain income forced me into other employemnt.
Of course back then everything was shot on film and ,thwarted by the lack of my own proper darkroom I was shooting less and less until I was seduced into 'going digital' about 4 years ago and the sheer amount of possibilties for each image has reignited my passion for the artform.
I know that I have to hone my skills somewhat and practice makes perfect so I'm currently looking for subjects to photograph on a 'Time For Pictures' basis. I'm particularly interested in shooting Vintage Fashion/Pin-Up, Couples portraits/engagement shoots (not weddings though), Vintage/Classic/Custom/ Super Cars, Bikes & Scooters.
I have a number of projects already in mind but I'm also open to suggestions from any one looking for a photographer to collaborate with.
