I love to create beautiful, interesting, and quirky images. My photography is not limited to taking pictures of people, but of anything interesting that captures my attention.
I've photographed Dance and Theatre productions, Portraits, Arts Festivals, Weddings, Landscapes, and loads of people for corporate websites and prospectuses.
I'm looking to work with people, experienced and inexperienced, who want to create, and who enjoy collaborating; the sharing of ideas, and the potential it creates to come up with new and unexpected directions, as much as I do.
I'm happy working on a plan or an idea, but I love the challenge of when a model turns up with a bag of clothes, and I just take my inspiration from what I see. That for me is photography in it's purest form and the way I love to work the most.
I have a well equipped, warm, comfortable home studio, which is used for everything from family portraits, to atmospheric and artistic nudes.
I've not yet gone out of the studio with a model into the big wide world, but it's something I'd be interested in doing for the right idea. I've done loads of corporate stuff on location, but nothing purely creative, and it's definitely something I want to try.
I took a bit of a break from the commercial side of my photography over the last year, due to the fact that together with the day job, I was never getting a day off. Never getting any time to pursue my own ideas, and frankly when I did I was too exhausted, physically and creatively, to bother. I've had a rest now, and I'm looking forward to getting back to work.
I'm always looking for new things to do. Look at my portfolio, and if you see a gapping hole that you could help fill, please get in touch. Whatever you are looking to do please get in touch. I might say no thank you if its something I've done lots of before, but I'm never dismissive of anyone, and always relish a new and interesting challenge.
