I had a stress-free shoot with Alan that we have booked months in advance. He was professional, punctual and easygoing. He brought items and clothing pieces we used for the shoot - I always appreciate that effort as being a touring model means that you often end up with little clothes that don't repeat in shots!

I think we worked really well together and I wholeheartedly recommend him, hope to see you next time!

Had another lovely shoot wit Alan- think it was our fourth shoot. As always, his pre-shoot communications were excellent, as he explicated the concept he wanted to shoot (Harley Quinn/ Dr. Harleen Qunizell from the Suicide Squad), and even delivered moodboard images and makeup for me to play with prior to the shoot. On the day, he kindly picked me up from my house and drove me to the Cottage studio, and we proceeded to spend a lovely day experimenting with props, costumes, makeup, imagery, concepts, and aerial equipment. I must also mention that Alan has been so very kind as to make calendars and cards for me out of our photos from our previous shoots- which just further shows how kind and creative he is. I look forward to seeing what Alan does with his post processing wizardry with the images from our most recent shoot, and I hope we will work together again.

Highly recommend...Alan is a lovely guy and great to work with...Alan has fun ideas and brings some items with him to try out...Alan is fun, has a brilliant sense of humour, jokey, easy going and caring. Brings delicious biscuits with him and also gave me some chocolate...Alan is very good with ideas but also happy to listen to the models ideas too...Alan is happy to show you images throughout the shoot from the back of the camera...

This was my second shoot with Alan and once again another great shoot!

I really appreciate that Alan goes out of his way to collect me and drop me back from the cottage studio - it really is a lovely gesture!

Alan is always full of wonderful and creative ideas and comes equipped with bits to shoot in/with. He was a great sense of humour and is really fun and easy to work with.

We managed to fill a half day really well and covered lots of different concepts/sets.

He is always checking to make sure I’m happy with what I’m shooting and that I’m warm, comfortable etc. He is also open to listening to any ideas I have (which can sometimes be crazy) and will work with me to try and achieve them.

Alan is a really lovely man and I enjoy working with him :)

Recommend once again! I hope to work with him on another shoot again

Had a lovely third shoot with Alan today, at Photo39/The Cottage studio. Pre-shoot communications were very good- he had a great idea for using the studio's suspension equipment. Alan very kindly picked me up from my house, and thoughtfully brought biscuits for sustenance during the shoot. He was very patient in allowing me to experiment with poses on the suspension equipment, and I think we got lots of really lovely shots.

Highly recommended, and I hope we work together again soon.:) Cat x

I had a lovely first shoot with Alan at the cottage studio.

He was kind enough to pick me up and drop me off, which was a well appreciated gesture!

Alan was super easy to work with, friendly and had a wonderful sense of humour.

He came with a range of clothing items and accessories to shoot with, so I never had to use any of mine.

We covered a variety of images and I'd love to work with him again :)

I had an excellent studio shoot with Alan today. Clear communication led to a productive session. Alan is a consummate professional and very easy going - he knew exactly what he wanted to capture. Time flew by all too quickly! He comes highly recommended.

Had a great shoot with Alan the other day. He's a great guy and a talented photographer, the shoot flew by with the assistance of coffee and biscuits! What more could I have asked for! Highly recommended for all models and I look forward to shooting with you again!

Had another lovely shoot with Alan, again at the Cottage Studio/Photo39. Pre shoot communications were very good, as Alan sent me videos and images of imagery similar to what he wanted to experiment with. This time, Alan wanted to try a series of projections onto my body, and I was intrigued by the idea. On the day, Alan kindly picked me up from my home, and drove me to the studio. We had a productive day, of listening to good music, and experimenting with the projection imagery. Alan kindly showed me the results on the back of his camera, and I was pleased to see we got some lovely creative images. He also kindly let me try some Valentine themed images with heart balloons, which I really appreciated.

Highly Recommended, of course. :)

Had a great second shoot with Alan yesterday. He again kindly drove me to the Cottage Studio (Studio 39), and he had lovely ideas which we were able to experiment with there- using balloons, hoop suspension and translucent material. Alan is always very considerate during the shoot, allowing time for a break, and even bringing biscuits to nibble on. He is also highly creative- it’s always interesting to see how the pictures turn out, and what he does with them in post production- he’s very imaginative. Highly Recommended. :)

I had a lovely shoot with Alan today. Pre shoot communications were very good, and he was very kind and considerate- driving me to and from The Cottage Studio, giving me a book of poses to study as we drove there, and showing me the images on his camera during the shoot, which is so helpful. We got to experiment with silhouettes and he had me trying poses and positions I'd never tried before- which was a great learning experience for me. I felt it was a great and productive shoot, and am looking forward to working with Alan again.
