Aelfar

Previously on Purple Port under the name of Alfar. I am a photographer, primarily landscape and fashion, but I have done lingerie and artistic nude. My aim right now is to learn the challenges imposed by different styles and different settings. Gaining skill whilst making it interesting for the model is the primary objective.

(If a model wants to work with me and has ideas, please put them forward. This worked fabulously at Strelley Hall. I learned an amazing amount and produced some of my best photographs as a result.)

I use a Canon Eos M100 for digital. These photos are provided on the spot or via Google Drive. A full spectrum camera is on order.

I also use a Pentax Spotmatic F (35mm) and Pentax 645 (medium) for film work. I do not have my own darkroom, so the turnaround for developing film is less predictable. High-resolution scans will be provided via Google Drive.

Note for film shoots: Be aware that I'm finding some films to be exceptionally unpredictable in terms of manufacturing quality. Things can go wrong - and sometimes do, in spectacular ways. If it's a paid shoot, my absolute rule is that mechanical difficulties and bruised pride are not your problems and these will not be allowed to affect what you've been promised.

I don't always know the username on PurplePort of the models I have photographed. If anyone is missed, it is not because of Evil Intent, it's because I've recreated this account and don't have all of the information. Please, please provide any information I am missing so that I can update records.
