Adrian joined Carla on hosting another fantastic sixties event at Rainbow studios in which i was the second model. I thoroughly enjoyed my first time working with him and equally this time also! Adrian is amazing at keeping the running of the event smooth. He was amazing towards me as the model ensuring i was happy at all times and a blast to be around. I even got given a limited edition ''Crooky'' special brew!! hehe.

Without a shadow of doubt Adrian ges the highest of recommendations from me and i hope to have the opportunity to work with him more again in the future :-)

Having thoroughly enjoyed my tutorial with Carla and Adrian in early August, I was very fortunate to squeeze in a second session with this phenomenal couple.

This time we worked through more examples of single lighting, Adrian making the subject so easy to understand and execute, whilst having the joy of having Carla as my model! Sheer perfection!!

The chemistry between this duo is infectious, there is such a massive respect for each other’s skills that the whole experience is beyond real description, other than a must to do.

I’ve just returned from a shoot, putting into practice, doing my homework so to speak, my confidence was greatly enhanced and the results were regularly praised by my model.

I can’t thank the team enough for their superb hospitality, for making me feel so welcome and above all for teaching me so much.

Having shot with Carla a few times recently, I was determined to work with her again. This time I was also privileged to be tutored by her husband Adrian Crook throughout our shoot.

Adrian very kindly met me at their local station and as we chatted on route to their country retreat, I realised I was in for a real treat.

The combination of such expert, brilliantly delivered tuition, coupled with the very beautiful Carla as my model, was seriously as perfect as it gets.

Clearly there’s a unique chemistry between these two marvellous professionals, which made the whole experience very special.

Their house lends itself to many opportunities, especially given this amazing weather and the outside space is fabulous.

We managed to shoot through a number of sets, each time Adrian making feel so much more competent at my understanding of the issues at hand, Carla inevitably delivering the stunningly beautiful poses which she produces so effortlessly.

I can’t wait to put into further practice all that I learnt,

I certainly intend to return to keep my skills topped up by these two wonderful people.

Adrian co-hosted a 1960's themed shoot at Map studio's with his wife Carla Monaco and Amie Boulton. He was very friendly, helpful throughout the day, kept everyone organised and made sure we all got a fair share of time. He was on hand to offer advice on lighting and setups which I found helpful and useful.

I am sure the day was as enjoyable as it was in no small part because of the work Adrian did behind the scenes.

I had the pleasure of being the second model on a sixties event that he and Carla Monaco was running and what an absolute pleasure it was.

I had briefly met Adrian a few weeks prior which was nice as i felt i already knew him when the event came around. Adrian, is such a lovely guy with a clear understanding and passion for photography which he passes onto others in the best of ways. The organisation of the event was second to none both himself and Carla went above and beyond to make sure the photographers had a great day (and me!!) I was so well looked after. Adrian regularly made sure i was happy and kept me watered and fed throughout both days... even treated us to a glass of prossecco on lunch break...win!!!

Safe to say, all the attendees were happy with the flow of the events as was I! I genuinely had an amazing weekend with them both and its clear to see why his events are so popular. Thank you for picking me to be the second model!

Spent 4 hours with Adrian and Carla at their home studio yesterday. Came away with so much more than I bargained for. Whilst I was there for lighting advice the information that was shared regarding what it takes to create great photos was super helpful and superbly delivered. If you want to understand what it takes to get the most out of any shoot, don't hesitate to book with Adrian and Carla. 100% worth it.

An Eye for Beauty

Another lighting hour of instruction from Adrian which was incredibly valuable. We basically covered two scenarios: using a single softbox to illuminate an indoor location where there is a varied b/g, and placing the model in front of a window and using the natural light from behind with a softbox in front. Working with Carla for the remaining time I am very pleased with the skills learned and the beautiful results.

Had a mini group shoot with Adrian. What a great evening, Adrian really knows his stuff, very helpful and friendly. Got to shoot with Carla Monaco as well... I got some fantastic shots using a variety of light attachments, so all in all I would thoroughly recommend going along to one of the events.

This was my second workshop I have been to run by Adrian and each one as good as the last.

Explaining in good plain English and easy to understand terms we learned some great lighting set ups. And working in a studio. Adrian is so stress free and friendly but so professional. And I come away with some stunning shots of the gorgeous Carla Monaco to top the day off.

It was a really fun day and Adrian was very helpful and he has a great sense of humor!

I had a great shoot with Adrian as part of my England tour. We shot an awesome variety of art nude, fashion, fashion nude and lingerie in a short time around his home studio and garden in Kemble.

Adrian is a great collaborator, completely professional and respectful of his models, very easy to work with and knows exactly what he is doing to get awesome shots!

I worked with Adrian is his home studio based in Kemble and was simply blown away. Adrian is not only a highly skilled photographer with immense talent he is also a very down to earth and warm hearted person. In fact Adrian’s expertise and professionalism is matched by his ability to project an open and friendly persona. He was an utter joy to be around and the whole experience was just delightful!

Adrian collected me from the station and was even early on the day, greeting me with a huge hug and an even bigger smile! From the moment we met, Adrian created a very relaxed and natural atmosphere. He radiates a great warmth and friendliness, which in turn made me feel completely comfortable in his company. Adrian was full of great conversation and laughs, instilling a great sense of calm in me and made me feel as if I had an instant rapport with him.

Before the shoot got onto way, Adrian showed me around and welcomed me to his home. He was highly attentive and caring, ensuring I was well refreshed and always put my needs first. We discussed ideas for the shoot and looked through images and concepts readily prepared by Adrian and we were away!

Adrian was an unbelievable photographer. Despite his friendly and easy going aura, Adrian worked very quickly and efficiently. Due to his assertiveness and keen artistic eye, we were able to shoot a wide variety of different looks and sets, showcasing his photographic talent and professionalism.

After each look Adrian allowed me to look through the images on screen which I really enjoyed. He is a highly considerate and patient photographer, ensuring that the work that he was producing whilst shooting was of the highest quality and standard. He also wanted to make sure that I was happy with the images and of course I was! Adrian put me first which was so endearing and definitely brought out the best in me!

Adrian exudes a great passion and enthusiasm for his craft, which is utterly awe inspiring, whilst the images he produces are simply spell binding. In fact I loved each and every one! Adrian has a natural flair; creating great images is almost second nature to him. I actually couldn’t get over the shots he managed to capture in such little time further reinforcing his incredible talent!

Adrian was a pleasure to work with, we had lots of fun, he made me feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera and he was discreet whilst also being authoritative when he needed to be. I loved his calm nurturing nature and would love to work with him again. Adrian is a spectacular photographer and person whose work is out of this world! I couldn’t recommend him enough!

An Eye for Beauty

Having booked a four-hour shoot with Carla at her home, I asked whether Adrian could give me an hour tuition on lighting for a fashion photography with minimal space and lighting. He did precisely that and it was the best input I have had - just enough time to learn and absorb without overload, and then put into practice for the rest of the shoot. Thanks, Adrian, money well spent!

I had a great shoot with Adrian yesterday, at a workshop he arranged with the modelzoi.

We shot a fashion set and Adrian gave me plenty of advice on how to take some great fashion photographs.

I learnt some new things which I have never done before and will continue to try them out.

Adrian is a good teacher and I would recommend his workshops to anyone.

Overall a very good day.

He is very energetic, fun to work with, down to earth and easy going, We spend an amazing half day shooting at his beautiful home.

Adrian was the Organiser / Tutor on a Street Fashion Workshop in Liverpool, with the always fabulous Carla Monaco as the model.

It was a throughly enjoyable day, with plenty of teaching , support and encouragement. Adrian pushed us out of our comfort zones, always with good humour, but with the clear objective of taking us to the next level of photography.

I had a 1:1 tuition with Adrian and Carla last week. They are both lovely, professional and they have loads of knowledge about photography and modelling.

I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants to improve their photography and I will definitely take other sessions with them to improve my photography even more.
