Big fan of and influenced by: the late great Bob Carlos Clarke, the greater still David Bailey, Gary Breckheimer, John Claridge, John Swannell, Maplethorpe, Donovan, Lindbergh, Watson, Duffy, old masters like Man Ray, Beaton and Lartigue.  Want to mix styles: industrial, architectural, marine with say a dance/bondage/fetish/fashion/art nude type styles. High-end elegant mono stuff, particularly like the 50's and 60's Hollywood and Vogue imagery.

Can/will travel, but want to exploit this wonderful area as part of an ongoing longer term project. I work in film (which I absolutely love), as well as digital. I am not reliant (nor intend to be) on Photoshop et al...I guess it's my disinterest and still being a purist/luddite, which makes me want to keep my images as simple as possible - if I can do it 'in-camera' with a minimum of enhancement/retouching then I will. I like 'clean' simple images; ones which have a graphic composition. I take landscapes in any spare time, purely because of the surrounding countryside, but also see the many incredible forms and textures nature offers.

I would like to develop long term working relationships with a limited number of models, purely due to the anticipated life of a project I've had in mind for a long time (time to do something about it now). I feel this maintains continuity, but also adds extra character dimensions and personalities. Chaperones/friends are always welcome - my duty of care towards any model, or individual involved is paramount.

I will try any genre of work, and am happy to discuss any opportunities. In truth, I'm trying to learn as much as I can about this side of the art - techniques, lighting, posing/directing, etc. All help (and patience!) would be highly appreciated. There really are some exceptionally talented people on this site and I can only hope to someday reach their standard.
