8th Sin

I'm Laura, owner and designer of 8th Sin. I am an independent designer creating jewellery, accessories and clothing with a focus on alternative and fetish fashion. I have been published internationally in multiple magazines and collaborate, rent and sell my items for shoots to photographers and models. The option for me to be on set for styling is available dependent on location and my travel dates.

I have limited TFP slots available, please message me with what you have in mind but do not be offended if I turn down your TFP offer.

Collaboration/TFP terms

Please send me a message with what you have in mind for a TFP concept, and ideally what you would like to loan. I cover tracked postage to you and you cover the return postage, tracked again. I require a signed contract stipulating the terms of loaning and returning the items. I may ask for a security deposit, refundable upon receiving the items back in their original condition if I have not worked with you before.

Renting terms

Rental prices are not refundable and are ideal if you have limited wardrobe/studio space or you do not wish to purchase the item for long term use. Initial tracked postage is covered in the rental price and you are expected to cover the return postage, tracked again. I require a signed contract stipulating the terms of rental and returning the items in their original condition. If the items are returned not in their original condition (e.g. covered in make-up or hair product, stained or damaged), I require the full price of the item + postage to be covered and you can keep the item. If the product returns to me damaged, the above conditions still apply but I will repair the item if possible before returning to you.

All rental prices are 40% of the RRP. This includes initial tracked postage to you. If you are renting a large number of items, we may be able to work out a flat-rate rental price lower than 40% of the total RRP.

Items as payment

If you are an exceptional model or photographer, I will on occasion allow you to keep items as payment/thanks. This is still technically collaborative so when messaging about a collaboration, please specify whether you expect to return the items to me or you desire to keep them as payment. Things that influence this are skill, talent, having a large social media influence and following and/or continued use of the items that you are happy to share with me. Please do not be offended if I turn down your offer to keep the items, this is a surefire way of removing any future possibility of me working with you.
