The first time shooting at the studio Spence attended a Beauty & Lighting workshop run by team black from Taunton.

Although Spence has very limited experience in a studio environment he was keen to learn and has produced some great images with Roberto the model from Italy.

Spence interacted well with the other participants and I’m sure would have picked up a lot of useful information on this workshop to benefit his photographic journey.

I hope to see him back in the studio again soon.

Having been contacted by Spence for a workshop, we recently had the pleasure of hosting him on a Beauty & Lighting Workshop with Italian model, Roberta, held at Sowton Studio. It was a workshop focusing on how to light a beauty and fashion shoot and this suited Spence perfectly. He is new to photography and paid superb attention throughout and tried hard to work with the available set ups to gain the best out of the workshop. He was polite and professional with the model and interacted well with the other photographers in attendance.

Spence didn't hesitate to ask questions throughout and listened to John's advice including framing and setting suggestions. Spence had real enthusiasm and it was such a learning curve. His back of camera shots looked wonderful and we can't wait to see the edits.

Highly recommended and we look forward to working with him again! Thanks for a wonderful shoot!

First time shooting with Spence today!

Spence was a joy from start to finish. His pre communications were clear cut and he was happy to share his ID as he had no references. We had a phone call to discuss ideas and he was receptive and thoughtful throughout.

I recommended Raw Pics studio as it was between us both.

Spence shared character analysis’ to really help me see his visions for the shoot.

During the shoot, Spence was respectful and professional throughout. He’s easy to have a chat and laugh with and open to new ideas.

I had a fab time and hope he also enjoyed his first model / studio shoot!

Hope to work with him on some new concepts again soon.
