I am a hobbyist photographer who has used a camera for around about the last 30 years. A few years ago I decided to have a go at shooting in a studio as it was something different for me. After a three day course I had a City and Guilds in studio portrait photography, and a few sample images I liked in my portfolio. Since then I have been trying to improve on those images, and expand my portfolio.
Unfortunately, spare time is a big limiting factor for me, so it remains an occasional hobby, and I don't get to do very many shoots a year. I am very happy to collaborate on projects if it allows me to build my experience and my portfolio. In particular I would be happy to collaborate with other photographers where I think I can learn something, and am happy to share the cost of a studio, model etc. I have done a number of shoots with professional models, and I am interested in trying most genres.
I am happy to work on a TFP basis, but obviously I am also happy to pay model and studio fees where necessary.
