UV images
These have been shot with a full spectrum converted camera and UV pass filters - so they have a rather Victorian look. Faces are dark, blemishes are emphasised.
None of these, to date, have been shot at less than 25k ISO< and most are at 102k... Ordinary daylight contains very little UV. Additionally, glass tends to block it - and most lenses are made of glass. All of these pictures were taken with an elderly Exakta lens, an f/2.9 50mm Meritar, which has three elements, all of them thin.
If I've shot pictures of you with this combination, and you don't like the result, hit the little 'x' next to your name below the picture. Many people love the intensity that the process gives.
Colour UV images are all violets and purples, so I tend to either edit to sepia, or use Sony's own sepia tone in camera.
For photographers who want to do similar images, I'm happy to chat about both the camera conversion and the lens (not to mention the filters). Just send me a message!
And for models, if you would like pictures with this intensity to them, please contact me... WE may be able to come to some arrangement, and if not, my rates will be reasonable!
