Please see below our terms and conditions. By attending your booking you and your party agree to adhere to and respect all of the below. Anyone found in direct breach of these terms and conditions will be asked to leave our location and not be allowed back. If required due to property damage or a direct beach of our stated levels of photography, we will not hesitate to pursue legal action against you.
- Basford Hurst Cottage is our home. Myself and / or my husband Simon may be in the property on the day of your booking. We will respect your privacy and will not get in your way. Please respect the areas of the property that are private and do not enter without prior consent.
- We allow photography and videography of levels up to tasteful art nude to be shot here at Basford Hurst Cottage. We also allow models to work up to tasteful open leg providing this is not the sole focus of the image. We DO NOT allow any adult content to be shot here at Basford Hurst Cottage. For avoidance of doubt this includes any type of masturbation, use of adult toys, oral sex and any from of penetrative sex. Please ask if you are unsure about our shooting levels and we will be happy to discuss this further with you.
- The studio lighting, equipment and props are for use at your convenience but please respect that this equipment is expensive so look after it carefully. Be mindful of wires and do not drag tripods and stands across the floors. If you need assistance please ask.
- If you break it, you are liable to pay for it. We are very proud of our property here at Basford and we do understand that accidents happen – But – Please do the right thing and tell us and we can then discuss the next steps.
- Please only wear indoor shoes / slippers within the property. A lot of the floors are easily marked, so please only wear shoes such as heels whilst taking photos. In addition, some of the floors get slippery and we do not want any avoidable injuries.
- When shooting in the dining room, we request no shoes, especially heels, or clothes with buckles / fastenings and fittings be worn on the table. Should the table be marked or scratched you are liable to pay for this to be rectified.
- Please be careful with your make up, cosmetics and other products in the property. We understand spillages happen but they can be very troublesome. If anything does accidentally get marked or dirty, please let us know as soon as possible.
- Level pushing will not be tolerated at Basford. This is when a creative is pushed, coheres, or manipulated into shooting at levels that they are not comfortable doing. This a safe space and for that reason I will always be on hand should any issues arise. I will not hesitate to ask any person involved in this behaviour to leave, and, they will not be allowed to return to Basford Hurst Cottage.
- We have CCTV cameras located at various places around the outside of property and in our Star Wars Memorabilia room. These are solely for security purposes due to a high volume of people visiting the studio. These are not used for any other purpose.
- You are very welcome to use the showers / baths at Basford. Please let us know if you require this on shoot day as we need time for the water to warm up. Should you wish to use any products in our bath other than water and soap please ask first. We do not want any products used that could stain or mark the tub. Any irreversible staining / damage to the tub will need to be paid for.
- We are happy for smoke machines (and similar) to be used at Basford, however, please check that the product used does not leave any marks, smells, or residue. If you are unsure, please check with us first. If anything should cause damage or require extensive cleaning, you will be responsible for all costs incurred.
- Please do not smoke cigarettes, vape, drink alcohol, or take drugs on the premises.
Please be reassured that these rules are only in place to safeguard our beautiful property so that everyone can enjoy it as much as we do!
