Charlie wears the military cap and jacket of the Imperial Swiss Navy, topped by the heavy, warm cloak worn by Shakespeare's Othello.  The goggles protect Charlie's eye's from the sonic wind evident during time travelling, Charlie has recently arrived in December 2022 having time-shifted from the halcyon days of the Swiss Empire.
