Three Graces
Pre-Raphaelite models Jezebelle, Larissa Angharada and Joy Draiki, inspired by Antonio Canova’s statue, The Three Graces. It is a Neoclassical sculpture, in marble, of the mythological three charites, daughters of Zeus – identified on some engravings of the statue as Euphrosyne, Aglaea and Thalia – who were said to represent youth/beauty, mirth, and elegance.
For our photographs, we used two tall Roman columns as a frame, and tulle wrapped around their bodies. We also incorporated other free-style posing both between the columns and other sets.
