Since we started PurplePort we wanted it to have a persona of it's own. It's why all of the emails the system sends are, well, kinda personal and signed off PurpleBot. I know it's only a small touch in the emails but we felt it was important that our communications with you weren't entirely impersonal. Even when we have deleted one of your images PurpleBot might sign off with Love, PurpleBot :-)
With the help of SarahD we have now put a face to the little chap.
He's already included in the emails we send when you get a Front Page Image awarded.
Say hello...to PurpleBot!
We'll be using him throughout the site, especially in our emails we send.

We'll be refining the little chap as time goes on of course, and putting him in various places.
And before anyone comments; No, he's not 'clippy'. He won't pop up saying "Hey, it looks like you're trying to arrange a photoshoot, I can help with that..." :-)
