I work on oil rigs inspecting pipelines and vessels. It's dull but pays the bills.
I'm also pretty obsessed with motorbikes.

I'm a project manager for major infrastructure projects. I make clothes (I have a degree in fashion!) I love to be busy and have an ecclectic mix of hobbies! I play roller derby, dance a lot (mainly lindy hop), scuba dive, collect vintage items and enjoy historical events!

I am a 3d visualuser / animator. Working within the architectural disciplines, have worked on all sorts of projects big and small, biggest being the Olympics last year. Animations i did for it were on bbc news as well as a documentary on channel 5. Photography is more fun so I guess I'll have to keep doing the 3d modelling stuff until somebody pays me to do this ;-)

Formerly a software engineer. I got out of the rat race about 12 years ago after a serious bout of pneumonia nearly killed me. Two months off work gave me time to re-assess my priorities a bit so I decided to quit the day job and do my own thing. Didn't know what to do for a bit, but I'd been teaching a martial arts club for a few years and decided to give it a go as a professional instructor. That worked out pretty well and I've been doing that ever since. I've got a pretty successful school and also teach all sorts of workshops & seminars etc. too.
I'd always been interested in photography and my dad was a great photographer, so about 5 years ago when I decided I really needed another interest other than martial arts I bought my first DSLR. Whenever I get into anything I tend to throw myself into it pretty seriously and did just that with photography. I never actually intended to make it a job, that rather happened by accident as several people asked me to help them get started with their new cameras and that quickly developed into a photograpny training business. The majority of my photography related income is from training, which funds the gear habit and allows me to focus on the actual photography that interests me.
I'll do the odd portrait session or events shoot, but tend to pick and choose the shoots that interest me rather than be dictated by a client brief.
