What else do you do?

I am a full qualified nursery nurse,SENCO work and hold a lvle 3 diploma in child psychology. Bug atm i am a full time care for my husband till we can find some to take over so i can go back to work

I used to work for a large Asian Bank in IT & Business Security!  After many years of being in the city I made the bold decision to go full time, so after travelling the world for 2019 I set about running my business at the start of 2020, ooops!  I still wouldn't change a thing.  I have a side gig at a purveyor of planet destroying furniture to keep me busy between sparse paid work the last year!  Hopefully things will slowly turn around, but I must say my life is far more stress free after quitting the corporate environment.

Been professional since 1989 but over the last 12 months with the current situation, I have dedicated as many hours as possible to several local charities; delivering food parcels and emergency provisions, providing phones calls to those who have been long term shielding and feeling isolated and developing run-down community centre into a wellness and wellbeing centre providing free mind and body classes. Hoping to balance the work-life thing and continue this work as we move out of lockdown 3!

I have been a designer in the commercial interiors industry for nearly 30 years. Following furlough and redundancy last year (strangely there wasn't much call to design offices, restaurants and hotels in 2020) I have now set up my own company, Broken Nib Ltd. offering planning, interior design, illustration and consultancy.

Setting up a new business offering services to a depressed industry in the depths of winter, during lockdown 3.0 and in the midst of the apocalypse is not exactly the business plan I would have written in an ideal world. Still, it seems to be going OK :)

You know what they say about life giving you lemons... 'If life gives you lemons, pin him down by kneeling on his throat and squeeze the lemons into his f*****g eye sockets'.

Making a computer game...

I'm a test pilot as a day job. Learnt guitar and wrote a book during lockdown. By night and free time I give recreational/inspirational lectures/talks to a variety of audiences. Occasionally womble about on horseback. Getting back into photography after a long time away for personal reasons. Run a couple of small businesses.

I'm a therapist.

I'm a writer - it sounds much better when I say it like that, the reality is less exciting! New to PP but not new to photography. I wouldn't call myself a professional, as that does a disservice to those who earn their money from taking pictures, but photography is a also key part of my job. I've done a number of shoots with models, amateur and professional, and looking to do more as time and money allow. 

Aside from photography, I am a musician. Mainly guitarist but also sound engineer. Been working for the last five years on my album, composing, recording, mixing and mastering it. Photography simply puts my brain in a very nice place so I am pursuing this new passion

Recently left my job working for the Ambulance Service - Returning to the Modelling Industry full time :)
