What else do you do?

I work as a geologist - which gives me great travel opportunities and photographic opportunities.  Check some of that on @geogaffer

I've come to focus portrait genres relatively late in my photographic adventures.  My work has tended to give me chances to work on landscape, travel, culture and some street work in addition to the technical photography included in the job.  Top fashion photographers often have scenes that are great landscapes independent of the model or subjects they put in them - so I'm very interested in taking the landscape experience into my new addiction with people.  So now when I'm in remote alpine locations, or little villages I'm working out of I'm asking myself all the time "Where is a model when you could use one!"

I’m a carpenter, currently building prisons for horses....or stables as they are more commonly known as.

As well as photography and my painting I also have an allotment which I love.

I am not sure you could say I 'do' as I don't 'do', but I own the local news in my home town, and we also publish a printed lifestyle magazine.

So, how abut you guys and gals...what do you do apart from this?

OK So if you are Plymouth based; did I teach you IT at Lipson CC?? That would be a trip! I went to Lipson after Truprint in Newton Abbot.

Retained fireman, online publisher/seller and do Uship Transport when I feel the need for a long drive to get away from the desk.

Sadly not.

I taught myself z80 machine code, then 6502 machine code, sold my first software when I was 17, and then I learnt BASIC and then C and then C++.

I'm a student. Currently working on my BSc in Health Sciences, then I'm off to medical school to become a doctor. Ultimate goal is head of A&E.

Hello Russ, hello all,

I work in animal management in what seems like a double life of mucking out and modelling. It's unusual how only a few people in my life know that I do both but never get to see both sides. I can't imagine posing in my overalls, but I'd love to be able to model with my animals one day...
