Although some of you may be lucky enough to work in this scene fulltime (I did so for all of last year but opted for a change eventually), the majority of us have jobs outside of photography and modelling. I love trying to guess what people do for a living so tell me what you do and give me a more rounded picture of 'you' and what drives you.

I myself am a plasterer. Bet you wouldn't have guessed that one!

Ooh what an interesting thread thanks for starting this one!

I worked for 15 years in the adventure travel industry, traveled the world and specialised in designing trips for schools.

I'm now doing a Masters in Sport Psychology with the aim of starting a business working with parents of elite child athletes....  oh and modelling to pay for the course

I am a dance and health education consultant working with dance teachers and dance teaching organisations with a focus on ethical practice and positive psychology within dance teaching. Early in my career I was a professional dancer and choreographer working worldwide and also dance teacher, lecturer, researcher and other dance or health promoting things. I love my hobby of photography and really enjoy doing dance shoots when I can (no surprises there then) :D.

Duty Traincrew Manager for a Train Operating Company.

24/7 office role looking after the drivers and conductors.

Weird and wonderful shifts, very anti-social hours and can be quite stressful at times but the pay and conditions are pretty good.

I've been working on the railway in one position or another for 26 years.

I was bullied out of my job in January so currently unemployed. I've mostly worked in telesales which I find soul destroying. I always wanted to work with animals but can never get to interview stage :( I'll probably go into hospitality or something.

Was a telephone engineer, following an apprenticeship, & included about 15 years working in comms with the U.S military.

I now work close to home maintaining tube trains.

Alethia Dawn oh no I'm sorry to hear that. I had a similar experience a few years ago. My manager was useless. I reported it and was told 'It's not bullying, she's like that with everybody.'

I hope you find something good soon.

For my sins, I work for a well known FMCG company managing a team of 10 sales reps. Making everyone else’s dream come true.

Miss Em thank you. To be honest, I don't even miss the place and the manager was new, I could tell she had it in for me from the start. I hope so too!
