I've got a MacBook Pro 17" that's not been used in ages - it had a native Firewire port. Let me know if you're interested and I can get it out and find the exact spec etc.......

Just pulled it out and fired it up. Basic spec is MacBook Pro 17" Early 2011. 2.2GHz Intel Core i7 with 8GB of RAM. Screen is 1920 x 1200 resolution. It has two HDDs (I removed the DVD drive and fitted a second one in it's place using a frame) - so there is a 256GB SSD for the main drive and a 2TB drive for storage.

Overall in good condition - probably a few small scratches / marks. Been kept in a plastic case. Can't see any faults on the screen (this was replaced about 9 years ago). It's running macOS High Sierra 10.13.2. I think the keyboard is a US format as I bought it when out there (not much difference to UK). No idea on battery life. Comes with genuine UK charger. Think I have the original box for it - need to check in loft.

Has Firewire, 3x USB (2.0?), Ethernet (and WiFi) - and one other port - MiniDisplayPort(?)

Let me know if interested...... I would need to clean it down and I would need it for a few days as I have a Firewire back which I have been meaning to sell for ages - would just need to connect and test that first....

Thanks

good luck with your sale. The leaf aptus backs are meant to be amazing. I'm on a V system so no use to me!
