'Claudia's Curios' has just been added to my Etsy shop. It's a collection of miniature interesting artefacts and books displayed on driftwood shelves. Quite pleased with this one and it was so much fun to make. I hope you like it too! :D

'The Wave' has just been added to my Etsy shop.

It's a beautiful piece of driftwood naturally shaped like a wave and I have mounted it on a piece of blue driftwood pallet. Varnished, signed and dated in pyrography underneath and with felt pads to protect surfaces. :D

Afternoon!

In between melting in this heat I have made 'Fleetwood', a tall sculpture made from three bits of driftwood and lots of sea glass. Why the name? Well I was listening to Fleetwood Mac whilst working on this piece. :)

Right, off to saw some wood........ :D

A bit of a special one added today. 'The Friendly Bookworm' is a driftwood sculpture of 12 hand carved miniature books detailed with pyrography and one with a cheeky bookworm peeking out. :D

'Everlasting Flame' is an abstract driftwood sculpture of a candle and flame with sea glass detail.

Quite a tall sculpture.

I have been a little quiet due to our dog not coping well at all with the recent increase in temperature, poor boy, it has made him very unwell and has needed lots of attention and adaptation to help him get through it.

On the upside....

I have now reached 86 sales through Etsy and now have 36 5-star reviews. :D

I recently added 'The Warrior', another abstract driftwood sculpture.

Quite relieved to see some rain today, hope you're all getting some rain too! :D

Now working on another flea circus though it might be a slow burner....... :D

'Flora's Fabulous Fleas', another flea circus has just been added to my Etsy shop. This one is more glam and colourful than my last flea circuses with different obstacles for the fleas too. It was so much fun to make but ever so time consuming!

Features include sea glass windows, one with curtains behind and one with glow-in-the-dark rubber, sea shells, a chimney and twisty driftwood detail. :D
