There is no set time, upload an awesome image and it could make fpi this week or it could be 2 years or more before it gains fpi status, if it gains it at all.

My 1st one took just over one year. My 2nd one was 4 months later.

I think its in part to how social you are and how much traffic you drive to your pictures. You could be the worlds greatest photographer but if no one ever see's your pictures no one will ever know.
But I've had one FPI and I still sum that up to the model helping drive traffic to my portfolio. I'm not really too bothered if I get them though as my pictures are mainly for me and the models and if anyone else likes them its a happy side effect.

I eventually received the first after being here for a year or so. Whilst I am extraordinarily grateful to the photographers who made this possible , I never think about FPI's when I choose to shoot - it is enough if the photographer and I are happy with what we have created .
