Artemis Fauna has a whopping 994!
I guess I was the first ever model here on PP so that probably helped.Felt like every shot of mine that got added to the queue was voted off this year- but recently had some very old ones make it though so there we are. :)
Lots of Iain's I noted- shame they were voted off when he was alive- he was always miffed our images would be voted off so fast...
The last 7 of mine that made it to queue got down voted. Either there is/was a mad elf putting stuff of mine into the queue which doesn't really make the grade, or I've pissed off a critical mass of elves.

I’m guessing that she has had over 1000 at various points in the past, and loses them when photographers leave the site or go down to a free account.

Defo - Artemis and I shared, maybe, 9 or 10 before I dropped off the site and I'm sure that's happened many times over the years

What a fascinating subject.
I find it depressing though because there are so few of the top scoring models that I feel even vaguely competent enough to shoot.

I found that working with better models was what improved my photography, and continues to do so. I’m sure the “top scoring models” as you describe them would be delighted to work with you, and you’ve already worked with many great models.

Same here. I've learned a lot more from good, experienced models than I have from photo mags or instructional videos.

Yes, what you say is completely correct but you have to go into a shoot with the hope that you might think of one idea.
I won't say any more. Sorry it's off the subject.

Don't worry, sometimes things evolve and off topic discussions are often far more interesting to read :-)

Seriously don't care, I know I love what I do and that many love what I create. Never one to look for greatness, and know the gurus on here place me in tye bottom tier.

Some fascinating maths there PurplePorters.
Studios are a slight curveball to these stats I think.
While I’m credited as photographer through my studio page, I don’t have my own photography page, so I don’t think they will show up in the photographer stats. Out of my studio FPI’s I think maybe 65/75% are shots I’ve taken?
I’d be intrigued to know the stats on how many of the minority groups, say, who comes top in Designer, Artist or Stylist groups?
Interesting stuff
I do love an FPI – it does give a glow and a spring in your step, I shoot what I love, and it’s nice to see others like it too. It’s a great platform for others to see images they otherwise would have missed.

In my case, they once gained me national publicity.

I have given the same advice for a long time. Whatever the sphere, work with the best people you can. Because (a) If they know more than you, you learn. (b) The stronger the team average the better the result. (c) If the people you work with enthuse you that's a force multiplier. Mediocre people lead you to do just enough, good people make you feel only your best will do.
You can learn stuff from books and videos but learning theory as one lesson and application of it as another is usually second best compared with doing the thing with an expert.
