Earlier this year, I travelled to Coventry for this year's ClickLive Expo. Whilst it is relatively small event compared to others, there were still some outstanding opportunities to shoot in their 'pods'.

Usually with ballet, the full pose is considered however Molly was wearing such a beautifully detailed costume with the most georgous jewelled cape, I preferred to capture a more portrait style image of her.

Credit to Creativity Hub who sponsored the pod and fujifilmuk who set the lighting up.

I can't possibly take all of the credit for this image.

Whilst the modesty is a good thing, I think you can give yourself for seeing the image (the light's good, but you need to decide how to use it), going with this framing to show the costume, and timing / picking the shot. Yes, other people did their bit so things could come together for you, but in the end making something FPI-worthy needed the photographer - they couldn't have got an FPI without you :-)
