You wait and wait, and then 2 come along at once!!


Although the grandees of PurplePort (who already have 153) will tell you that FPI's don't matter all that much etc etc, there is a truth I have observed in more than one field of endeavour, which is the fact that regardless of the subjective quality of a piece of creative work, or the pleasure you get from making it, it means very little in the end unless other people say it is good. So that little FPI icon really does help you to believe that there just might be some objective merit in your efforts as well.

Thanks to Russ and the PP crew for this great resource, which has been such a huge help to me in developing my understanding and improving my skills, to the fabulous models who worked with me on these 2 images, and to those of you who have kindly loved, commented or collected.

I agree with you, they don't mean much in the outside world and others see it as petty but it's a great feeling and as you say an acknowledgement that you're doing the right thing!
