How YOU can help Ukraine

SteveDeansPhotography hey Steve, I’m

Moldovan. I do have some family in Ukraine but they all managed to flee.

I’m scared Russia will go after Moldova next. They already have over 1000 Russian troops there in Transnistria (which is owned by Russians), could attack at any time.

waist.it oh god I haven’t even thought of that. I see why you guys are concerned, it’s terrible in what times we live in. I really hope you can get her family out asap! It’s so unpredictable what’s going to happen next

Coco Tiger I'd be happy to do another shoot and contribute to your charities

I have today disengaged four clients, three Russian nationals currently resident in the UK together with the company they beneficially own. Until such times as the Russians take collective responsibility for their tyrannical government and oust it, then all Russians bear responsibility for what's happened in Ukraine so far as I'm concerned.

My husband’s family is in the Ukraine now. It’s so frightening.

SteveDeansPhotography said, 1646151594

FiL I think that's harsh tbh. They are living under a repressive and dangerous regime themselves

SteveDeansPhotography thats a great idea, to do some shoots and send the profits to charities that help Ukrainian people. Definitely I’d be up for that!

FiL that’s good! Yeah everybody needs to pressure Russia as much as possible, hopefully this will end the war

RR Photographic (Ruth Chornolutskyy) I’m so sorry to hear that Ruth, it’s terrible what people in Ukraine are going through now.

are they able to flee or are they stuck there? Is there anything we can do to help? Do they have enough supplies?

I don't. It's their government, they provide it with a platform and collectively they have the means to tear it down if they want to. If they choose not to, then they're no less culpable than Putin and his cronies. They should think about that really carefully. If they don't, then the likelihood is that things are going to get a whole lot worse pretty damn quick.

+1. Of course I feel sorry for innocent Russians. I even feel sorry for the Russian conscripts who seem to have been bullied and tricked into this war. Nevertheless, I think you are right. We have to bring as much pressure to bear as we can on all Russians to stop the mass-murdering bastard they call "president".

They don't want to leave. They still remember the house being shaken by shells during the Balkan wars back in the 1990's. Seems they take the view that if they can stand that, then they can also stand this. Hence why our evacuation plans are currently "provisional". FWIW, my experience of Hungarians is they are a pretty determined bunch. If fighting did break out, my impression is that many would take a similar stance to the Ukrainians, regardless of what that sycophantic Putin-loving dickhead Orbán wanted.

I hadn't realised you were Moldovan. If I remember correctly, Moldova shares some 350 km of border with Ukraine? Whereas Hungary's is about 80 km. I can see why you're worried. Presumably you still have family living in Moldova?

Coco Tiger I think they are ok for now but thank you. His parents, my sister-in-law and niece could leave but they have a 9-12 hour drive to any border so take the view it’s safer to stay where they are. His brother can’t leave.

FiL there's only young people with VPN on their phones that will have a clue what's going on. Older people have been watching state TV for years peddling lies about terrorists In Ukraine.

Another revolution in Russia isn't simply a choice between supporting Putin bombing civilians and not

Coco Tiger I'm not suggesting all the money goes to charity, but we can both agree on a contribution
