The late Rachid Taha -- a live version of Barra Barra I've only just found. The album Made In Medina and this performance (in March 2001) were produced by Steve Hillage.

I've never read anything by Kazuo Ishiguru (but I like the film Remains Of The Day.) I'm listening to this BBC Radio 4 reading of 'Klara And The Sun' (a story told from the perspective of an AF - which I take to mean Artificial [Intelligence] Friend) I've only heard 3 episodes, so I haven't got a full grasp of where it's going yet. I will definitely be listening to the rest and checking out more Ishiguru. Apparently he has a Nobel Literature Prize, so it's clear I'm not the first person to be impressed with his writing style.
