Atomic Rooster Tomorrow Night compilation CD. Includes such classics as Death Walks Behind You, the title track, Do You Know Who's Looking for You, Friday the 13th and a great live version of Devils's Answer which was the band's biggest hit, reaching number 4 in August 1971. More proof that while the politics of the 1970s may have been laughable, the music could be amazing.

I thought I would echo the anticipated prorogation of Parliament

so I reached for

Die Tote Stadt by Erich Korngold

The title confuses, the music is luscious as befits the Hollywood “father” of John Williams.

Opera is so good when it wants to be.

A real child prodigy conquers all reality music competitions.

Next up ABBA. Comfort food...to edit to!

"Meddle" by Pink Floyd. I found it for .25 cents in a used cd bargain bin and in some ways I like it better than the celebrated "Dark Side of the Moon".

Sounds like a good mixture! I also absolutely adore Abba, they are marvellous.

Chimaira Chimaira (2 CD). This 2003 offering has most of what you could wish for in a metal album.
