Well I've only just got home, so only had a chance to listen to the beginning of each track so far.....but today I picked up the new album from 'The Man in Black'.
'Out Among The Stars' by Johnny Cash.
He sadly died in 2003, and all these previously un-released tracks are from 1984. His son produced the CD, along with someone else.
I don't think any of them would have been strong enough to actually be a hit single, at the time.
They sound a bit 'A boy named Sue', 'I walked the line', & 'A thing called love' type of thing. And 1 track sounds a bit like 'One piece at a time.'
Having said that, when I'm in the mood and I put his other CD's on, I do like to listen to: 'I walk the line,' 'Ring of fire', '(Ghost) Riders in the sky', that type of thing. But I especially like to listen to 'San Quentin' & 'One piece at a time' funny record, makes me smile).
