According to my account stats, I had 5610 image views yestarday (Boxing Day)!
I don't know if that's some sort of record (it certainly is for me), but thanks to anyone who dropped by to have a look at any of the images on my profile.
Has anyone else had an unusually high view rate?
Or is it just a glitch in the system?
And I hope all of you had a good Christmas and that Santa brought you your heart's desire.
I pay attention to how many loves I get but no attention to views.
I got nothing from Santa.
I just checked. Yesterday was about typical. I got more on a couple of days last week.
Just checked and I had 9162 yesterday, which is insanely higher than usual! Maybe some kind of error? Previously the highest days have been around 1000
Mine was normal, but I have my profile set as not searchable by search engines, and excluded from social media. Even on a good day my maximum is about a tenth of that.
I had a heady 322 image views on Boxing Day.
As ClickMore 📷 suggests it could be some kind of bot trawler. I don't know how that works but I remember a few years ago a new model on here was 'loving' images on an industrial scale. Far more than was humanly possible. It transpired she was a front for some guys from somewhere in Central Europe. She was also only 16 so was expelled from PP, along with the FPIs she had received in her first week on the site.
I had 78 image views yesterday, my most popular image has 5,077 views in the 7+ years its been on the site, so that is a good record for a single day, well done
All usual for me every post is around 100 views and 15 loves unless i am lucky enough to get an FPI and then its 200 views
Over two dozen for me yesterday, but only because I added 3 new images. Generally happy to break double figures, but overly not bothered.
Just incase others here are getting inferiority complexes. Just like whose who saw the I’ve got more FPI’s than you post the other day (I have 2).
