My Recent Group Discussions is swamped with Games stuff. I’m not a member of Games.
If there’s a change to functions, this is a brilliant example of how not to introduce it

It looks like it's because they've taken someone advice and now split the games group into two different (and I guess new) groups so you'll have to unsubscribe from them again?
side effect of all of one group of game types being moved and everyone being subscribed, just unsubscribe if they dont interest you, simples :-)
"Games (posting images from the previous poster)" has just appeared in my Groups, which was a bit of a surprise. When I log in to PP I have a lovely blank screen, and when I go to groups there are only three, so any change is very noticeable. Now this is not a big deal and, now that I know why this additional group has appeared, I can unsubscribe. However it would have been nice if an explanation was sent to everyone so that they don't have to go looking for it. A simple notification on logging in would have done the trick. Just a thought.
Thanks all. So I’m thinking I’m not alone in thinking this is a brilliantly communicated introduction?
Someone made a suggestion to split the games posts, it was implemented with not a lot of notice and / or comms.
Un-subscribe from said forum is my suggestion.
As a consequence I have now left both "games" groups...

Don't worry, they'll soon be buried under piles of pointless arguments ...
Fortunately, as I had long ago unfavourited Games and chosen to display only favourites in the Recent Group Discussions widget, the new group seems to have inherited that setting so also doesn't display. If that was deliberate, my thanks to whoever made that decision.
Users who had already opted out of games, shouldn't have to do this.
Their wishes - already expressed by the precious opt-out - should have been respected.
Stu H it's Xmas eve eve, have a drink and some cake and relax :)
It's honestly super quick to leave a group, maybe there's some reason why it has to be done the way it has. They didn't have to even do it, members requested it to be done so goes to show you just cannot win lol
