A question/survey for models about how you use your mobile phones to communicate with photographers

I'm really interested from a business perspective to know how models use their mobile phones when communicating with photographers, particularly about whether you give your mobile number out.

It's a very short survey (7 or so short multiple choice questions) and it will help me work out if there is any demand for a product that we offer to the modelling industry.

The link to the survey is here https://s.surveyplanet.com/c7mcu43h it is completely anonymous and doesn't ask for any personal details whatsoever.

I am more than happy to answer questions in a dm and also if there are any models that would like to take part in a free beta programme, then please contact me.

Please also feel free to share the survey on your socials.

Polite request to photographers - please do not post on this thread, please respect the fact that I am not trying to garner photographer opinion or experiences, it really is only specific to models. I am not expecting to be inundated with responses because models tend not to participate however any model feedback will be useful.  If as a photographer you do have a nose at the survey please don't fill it in! If you have a useful comment then by all means dm me.

Usually I do not give my number out unless it is a location shoot and we need to call each other to make sure we are in the right place.

There are enough media platforms to communicate on.

There have been times where a photographer has asked to call me in person to discuss a shoot which I have no issue with, but in the main, I just don't see the need to provide one.

Whether that is because my comms are very good compared to others, based on feedback I have received. I regularly check in with the photographers who have booked in with me to discuss ideas, ensuring we are all on the same page as far as styling and will check in a few days before a shoot and the night before as well.

I can see people wanting telephone numbers as an extra mode of contact, if the comms have been particularly sketchy or the model has been difficult to get of.

It should be that I can trust people but sadly more than once on the odd occasion I have given my number I have had totally pervy phone calls out of the blue, not wanted when I am at home doing something else or out with friends. One had asked for a CV for an interesting job and then was using the information in the CV to say all sorts of things. Why does even this site attract such low life? It is important to communicate on the day and I do leave a number but it is my husband who acts as an intermediary and I make this clear.
