Are purpleporters not keen on masks?
Just wondering as my mask images don't seem to get as many likes as other images.
Thoughts on masks in general?
Just curious.
I am happy with my mask images.
The issue i find with them as sometimes they don't fit right over the eyes. Or casts shadows.

The key part of nearly all of my images is the face. So masks don't really appeal to me at all.
you have to post what you like and not what gets likes. It's mostly photographers that click the likes here, better off seeing what a wider audience thinks maybe on instagram. :) My photography is all about faces, so I only like for that connection.
Suppose it depends on the mask and how it is used. I've done probably 3 or 4 shoots were a mask has been part of it, they were popular but I'm not a mask liking person in general.
My mask images vary greatly in their hit rate. Some get loads of likes and other not so much.
As much as I love a mask, let's face it, it is no competition for a nipple.
A very sad but true fact which reflects greatly on our society.
But I do think mask shoots are a bit of a niche thing. By pure co-incidence, yesterday I put up a share-a-shoot post regarding the blind masks I have shot in and not a single response to it.
Regardless of the lack of interaction, it's not stopped me thinking about shooting masks more. I find them highly creative and makes you really thing about how you convey expressions with your facial muscles when you have no eye contact.
Next on my agenda is a blind mask duo shoot!

None have any nipples showing, and the second one you deffo wouldn't know if she was topless or not.
No, but you can clearly see the models are topless.
For a true comparison, I'd love to see a masked image of yours where the model is clothed.
I will hazard a good guess that the like rate will be lower.
